What is the structure of the CUET Exam for B.Tech students?

NTA follows a specific structure for CUET examination for undergraduate students. The CUET Exam for B.Tech stream is divided into three sections:

  • Section 1A: Students are required to choose one language of their choice from the options given in the application form (Example English or Hindi).
  • Section 1B: Students need to choose an additional language of their choice from the given options.
  • Section 2: Choose domain-specific five subjects based on your knowledge and ability (For B.Tech students physics, mathematics and chemistry).

Will deleted syllabus come in CUET 2025?

The deleted syllabus will not come in the CUET 2025 exam, The NTA has removed few topics from the CUET Btech syllabus 2025. Several chapters from Inorganic, Organic, and Physical Chemistry have been deleted. From Biology, Asexual reproduction topics, including binary fission, budding, and vegetative propagation, have been removed, and from maths the topics like Rolle’s Theorem, Mean Value Theorems, and Bond Valuation are no longer part of the syllabus.

What is the pattern of CUET B.Tech Exam?

The CUET Exam for B.Tech stream follows a particular pattern which is divided into three sections: Language (Hindi or English), Domain-Specific (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and General Aptitude (Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Maths). Students can choose up to 6 subjects for the CUET exam. Language and Domain-Specific sections include 50 questions each from which students need to answer any 40, whereas the General Aptitude section includes 60 questions in total from which students need to answer any 50. Students need to complete their CUET exam in a total duration of 3 hours, each section has 60 minutes. The marking scheme awards +5 for correct answers and -1 for incorrect answers.

Marking Scheme of CUET for B.Tech Students
