Likes

I truly appreciate and admire the teaching staffs, they're very good and inspiring, upgrading my knowledge with their amazing teaching performance and also their discipline and punctuality towards regular classes and attendance.
The biochemistry department is one of my favorite place with all the facilities being kept and monitored carefully and where learning experience keeps me concentrated and alert all the time.

Dislikes

I don't find the wifi and the network to my liking because there are issues happening whenever i move or walk to a different site for eg. Good connection in the class but when i want to buy something from the canteen, network problem again.
Apart from the core papers, the assignments, presentations, tests, etc given by the optional papers are too tough and heavy.
I don't specifically like the drinking water given by the college as it smells a bit.

Placement Experience:

From semester one students become eligible for campus placements. Accenture, HDFC, wipro, ICICI and many more in finance and marketings are being visited . The highest package was 21.5 LPA and the average was 6.5 LPA. Students getting placements ranges from 60 percent to 80 percent.

Honest review about my college

Likes

I just like the library arrangement of my college. It's very appropriate environment for studying and preparing for your exams well. Also, the library remains open in sundays too for students who face difficulty for studying at home.
Greenery of our college, lots of trees and herbs in college, front lawn in so suitable for sitting calmly and soending quality time with friends.
Staff members in the lab have modest behavior. They understand student's problems but some professors also scold them on silly things just to show their power in front of students.

Dislikes

The timetable of our college. Significant no. of students who are studying in college come from far i.e. nearly 2 to 3 hrs travel. The time table remains like 8.30 am to 6pm classes which is so inappropriate, even we don't get time for self study.
Bad teaching method of some professors. They just open the ppt and read it, sometimes they skip the syllabus topics, upon asking they scold us that can't we do it ourselves. On asking doubts, they instead of clearing them insult students
Students who are in different activities or societies have to face lot of insult by professors in classroom.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is suitable for students. The SEC ( skill enhancement) and VAC ( value addition) courses are helpful for students for their future. Which prepares well students for the real world applications. Areas of improvment are the teaching methods of professors, they should keep a polite behavior so they students can easily ask their doubts. Timings of exams are sometimes not suitable in winters it's freezing cold to go to exams in morning in December and jan months

Life at college a balance between study and enjoyment

Likes

Like the safe environment as I'm in a yirls college it's safer and easier to blend into
Teaching methods of the teachers are great teachers engage and help students out
The new mentor mentee thing with nep also helps us out as each student gets more attention

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not that great need a better classroom and lab arrangement
Except for my dept not allot of dept have ac
Not a big fan of vac sec aec they seem irrelevant and also take allot of time

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really wanted to learn more about the chemistry about our body and how we as individual work the course in itself is very much relevant and i always wanted to be a doctor but since i couldn't clear neet i went with the next best option The course teaches us about all sort of day to day aspect the most relevant include eg carbohydrates metabolism and how we digests sugars and enzymes yow they work etc areas of improvement may include that we should be more practical oriented then theory oriented we should learn more about the practical aspect the exams are moderately difficult with a 2hr theoretical exam and a 5hr practical both set at moderate difficulty

A college review full of pros and cons

Likes

It's girls college- where we can comfortably study.
The environment is very safe and secure- I feel safe around my college campus.
There are lots of societies and clubs which I can join.

Dislikes

Lack of providing students with internships and placement.
There is lack of guidance most of the times students are confused.
Overall sometimes teachers and professors are not at all considerate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core subjects are very well divided, the main problem arises with the other additional subjects which requires efforts as same as the other subject even though they don't hold any importance as such. Maybe reducing other subject or making them practical based instead of theory based would be helpful.
