Daulat Ram college

Overall the college is great and I had a loving experience in the thouree years in college. The course and department helped me love science more. The campus environment was fun and full of good vibes. The classical dance society was great too.

Course and staff was very good.The teaching and non teaching staff was very helping and kind and above all, A learned one. The course structure covered all the major subjects which should be learnt as basics before doing Post graduation and PhD.Labs were hectic hence we did not get much time to roam around and venture the campus and eateries much.

Placements are difficult after just a bachelor's degree in this field.One has to do master's atleast to get a decent job in a pharmaceutical company or a cosmetics company. Hence no companies hire bachelor's students at this stage.

The Biochemistry department organised a departmental fest on National Science day every year which composed of various Extempore, Poster presentation, Debates, Treasure hints, Quizzes and other fun educational Competitions. It also composed of lectures by eminent scientists.

14000 per year. It was very feasible but it was a bit higher than other colleges offering the same course. The fees was submitted in every semester. But overall it was not a burden and very cheap as compared to other private colleges.

I have no knowledge of scholarships being offered by the college.there was one for students who are orphans or are below poverty line. Apart from that I can't review about scholarships being offered.

The college had numerous societies such as Classical Dance society, western dance society, Street play society, Painting society, fashion society, Debating society. It is a girl's College. It is a safe environment in college for girls. The hostel was very clean and nice

Seniors were very helpful and were a learned batch. They are all placed in a good company but most of then are pursuing their masters and PhD in eminent University in India and abroad. All the seniors cleared our doubts in various topics if any and gave us a good freshers party. They made us feel comfortable when we were new to the college and course.

ECA trials were held in two phases and I got selected clearing both the phases.gave my trials as I am an accomplished Odissi Dancer. Then we had to apply to all the interested colleges after the ECA trials results were released. I wanted to be a scientist in the field of biological sciences hence I choose Biochemistry as a course and Daulat Ram College was the only College in the North campus of Delhi University which offered this course. 31 of the students out of 1000 students were selected after both the ECA trials

The faculty was highly qualified with most of them earning a post-doc degree. They knew what they taught us and made all the subjects very easy to learn and cleared our basics. They gave equal importance to extra curricular activities and studies.
