The upgraded allocation result has been announced on September 3. Students allotted seat need to complete fee payment by September 4. The last date to pay the admission fee is September 6.
Application for mid-entry will remain open from September 7 to 9.

College of vocational studies - MY JOURNEY

Likes

The crowd of CVS is extraordinary. There is no ragging the seniors are really helpful and the cultural societies are very active which makes your college experience very wonderful
The faculties of commerce department are really nice and some of them are really helpful. Teachers are dedicated to their schedule and will help you throughout your internals.

Dislikes

There is no science department in our college which makes it a less diversified college. There are no science labs and activities. Also the strength of our college is very less as compared to other colleges.
We have a huge ground but it's for nothing we can't organize any fests or any DJ in that ground due to the presence of a hospital nearby which is PSRI hospital.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course was bcom hons which Is a white reputed course among others. The course have both practical and theoretical subjects. The books regarding the subjects can be easily available inour library. The teachers recommend books to us on the first day. The exams are conducted every 6 months semester wise. There are 6 semesters. You can easily score a very good cgpa such as 8 or 9 if you're consistent as it is a scoring subject.

The insights of College of Vocational Studies.

Likes

The thing which I like the most about my college is it has students from diverse backgrounds and courses which really helps an individual to grow and learn from the like minded people around you.
Cultural societies in our college are on our USP's.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not so good. It needs improvement but the college is not serious towards it .
We need for sports facilities in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very informative. I choose this course because it offers a wide variety of options for future . The curriculum really helps me by getting an exposure to the practical world outside as it engages students in many extra co curricular activities as well. The areas which needs improvement are that it should be more inclined towards the practical form of learning. The exams happens twice a year , semester wise . The difficult level is moderate to difficult.

COLLEGE CROWD IS AGAIN ONE OF THE BEST THING

INFRASTRUCTURE IS VERY OLD WHICH IS JUSTIFIED BCOZ OF LOW FEES
COLLEGE MANAGEMENT IS THE WORST THING EVER HAPPENED THEY ARE ALL VEY BAD

IT IS EASY TO MODERATE LEVEL TO PASS THE EXAM , FACULTY OF DELHI UNIVERSITY IS QUIT EXPERIENCED MANY OF THEM HAVE WRITTEN THEIR OWN BOOKS TEACHING METHOD IS FINE , COULDN'T DEPEND SOLELY ON TEACHERS TO PREPARE FOR BCOM HONS. TWO SEMESTERS are held in one year , each of atleast 4 months due to late admission but not it will be fine

College of Vocational Studies: What's in it for you?

Likes

College Societies were one of the best parts about College of Vocational Studies.
The cultural socieities are phenomenal with the achievements they do every year.

Dislikes

The college societies, if you choose the wrong ones, can be very hard and toxic to deal with.
College administration lacks trust and confidence in students and ruins a lot of events by cancelling them mid-way.

Course Curriculum Overview:

• Why B.Com (Hons.) B.Com (Hons.) provides scopes for a lot of career opportunities and does not pull you towards a specific field like courses that provide Economics as a compulsion. One can choose from Finance, Marketing, Advertising and Economics easily whenever they want to, thanks to the availability of several General Elective subjects offered in the college! • There's a healthy ratio among students if talked about gender. • The professors placed in CVS, DU are one of the best since some of them are book authors and editors for the books that are read throughout the university! Teaching methods are still outdated due to lack of proper infrastructure in the college but changes are in progress every year - gradual but slow. • Term exams were at par if compared with SRCC and the university. There's no mode of cheating allowed which provides fair competition and they are done on a timely basis. Monthly test and internal exams are fairly easy.

A truly review on the college

Likes

Crowd of the college is very good. Seniors are also very helpful.
The Greenery in the college dismisses all your stress and make you joy.

Dislikes

Convience is too hard as chirag delhi is about 1.5km away and malviya nagar is 6km away
Buses are not available on time and you have to walk to metro.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had choosen BCom hons because I was interested in accounting. The teachers of this college are very friendly with brilliant ideas. All faculty members are very educated and some professors also wrote books that are used as study material at Delhi University. Exams at Delhi University depends on your intelligence and way of presenting answer but you have to study your syllabus to get good marks.
