Course Curriculum Overview

As I from commerce background I always wanted to pursue BCom hons . BCom hons will help me finding my future opportunities in finance as well management filed. Talking about the faculty of our college it's very supportive and always help us in our studies.

There are various types of internships opportunities available in our college like broomies, Tata 1mg, Sunergeo India, Captain sales which offered various roles like Market Analyst, Human Resources intern, Content Writing Intern which provide stipend as well as experience to our students.

Placement Experience

Talking about the placement in our college we have a placement cell called aspire who conducts placement opportunities as well as internships opportunities. Dedication from aspire brings companies like EY, Delloite, Accenture and many more in our college. The highest placement offered in our college is 21lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Talking about the fee structure of our college it's very minimal. For this many universities charge very high fee but as it's a government college and they even provide relaxation in fee for various categories.

Campus Life

Our College conduct fest called Tatva which happens annually and this is one of the best fest in overall university. A lot of books which is related to academic and books who are not related to academics are available in the library. And even we have many social groups in your college which are run by the students and it helps in improving our skills.

Admission

I was admitted in the College through an entrance exam called CUET. As I from EWS Quota I got 10% reservation . To get eligible for BCom hons in University of Delhi you have two type of combination for CUET you have to choose one either of two

Daulat ram college through the eyes of drcians

Placement Experience:

From the 2nd year our internship is started and after 2nd year i.e, in the starting of 3rd year we are eligible for campus placements. There are so many companies every year visit Daulat ram College for campus placement. Like:- Accenture, Wipro, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, ICICI, HDFC, DE Shaw, Amazon, and Zomato. I have CA in my mind after graduation.

Hands On experience !!

Placement Experience:

Students in my college can go for placements starting from 5th semester . many big companies including big four (4 ) visit the campus .The highest package was 23.5 lpa and median and avg package is 6.5 lpa .Most students who have got placements are 7 cgpa or above . Companies also provide intership opportunities for better placemnets .We also get guidance from resume building ,interviews and preparation .After finishing my degree I aim for placements and afterwards CAT forIIM's .

A beautiful memory

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the daulat ram course 8/10. One of the main reasons i chose this course was that the syllabus felt balanced between theory and practical understanding..but the only drawback is that sometimes it felt a bit more theory based rather than practical exposure , the exam pattern is consistent mid-sem internals and end-sem finals twice a year. Internals are usually manageable, but end-semester exams depend a lot on the teacher marking style.

My pov of college

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is quite good, from 2nd or 3rd year students are eligible. Deloitte visited recently. I'm not aware about this, placements cells are made in college who take care of all this. A good amount of students get place, approx 20 students were placed this tym in Deloitte. I will be continuing with ACCA only.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is as per Delhi University's official curriculum, so it's pretty good. But its very theoretical as well so if I would suggest an improvement it would be this to make the curriculum more real and practical life based rather than rote learning.

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Consequences after getting admitted in DU

I gave the CUET exams to get my college. CUET exam is basically an entrance test for bachelors degree which eligibles you to all the central universities of India. You have to appear for four domain subjects that you have studied in your class 11th and 12th. You can apply for any course irrespective of it's connection with the subjects that you jave studied earlier. Based on your cuet score you will be eligible for different courses. The cutoff is really high for Delhi University starting from 600 for more most of the courses starting from the lower reputed colleges. You do get reservation benefits. The application form are generally out in the month of April. The exam has nothing to do with your class 12th percentage until you have passed the class. The only demerit I find is the late admission process. By the time you get the results of the exam, other top colleges' admission are done by then....Read More
