One of the best college of du for commerce students

Likes

The college is very easily commutable from ghaziabad or east Delhi , public transport is readily available also it makes affordable as well
College professors and staff is really supportive in terms of everything

Dislikes

The locations outside the college is not that good , thrift market is there which makes the roads very busy and chaoctic
Construction work goes on always in jal nigam outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is more than average or you get many options in your 6MS or just after completing your fifth semester. I myself got the package of 2.5 LPA in 2018. Also, they are many companies coming into your college like S&P global BT global, ICICI bank HDFC bank KPMG, so if you are average student, you can basically grab a average package of 5 to 6 LPA and the best thing is that college does not take any cost from you or any fees any charges for applying to any of the companies that are coming it. Just you have to be in a WhatsApp group where you will get all the information that which companies is coming on which date and you can basically coordinate with this Book for that company and give the aptitude test that the company organises after that you will give your HR round JD and company will let you know if you have cleared the interview and you will easily grab a job.

A gem of Off campus

College provides good faculty. Faculty members are supportive
College organises a very good annual fest

More than 40% of students in our course got placed in different companies. The top recruiting companies for Bcom honours in this college are KPMG, Wipro, JSW, BYJU's etc. The top and best roles offered are economists, data analysts, accountants, etc.

BRAC Review

Likes

BRAC has one of the best faculty members and finest infrastructure.
BRAC provides a fair number of internship programs and placements majorly for the students of commerce background.

Dislikes

The locality seems to be congested and experiences high traffic jams.
The college doesn't have any strict rules for attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcom Hons is considered one of the most opted and finest disciplines. The faculty members were highly qualified and cooperative. The class size was around 60 students and 6 faculty members were assigned. At every 6 months semester exams were held and it was moderate or sometimes hard to pass the exam.

A wonderful college life at BRAC

Likes

sports facilities. there is badminton, volleyball, baseball, cricket, football and also ncc actively going on.
The canteen food is also good. I just love that.

Dislikes

College is situated in an under developed area.
There are some cases of ABVP doing ragging.

I choose b.com hons as I wanted to study commerce further. The faculty is quite average. Although some teachers are highly qualified some lack the passion for teaching. The exams are held on a semester basis every 6 months and are very easy to pass.

A fair one

Campus is good . We have a big ground where no one stops you from playing
Infrastructure is ok as it is not too old . It is very good as compared to other colleges

Dislikes

Canteen is not too good . Its horrible to be Frank
Infrastructure is good but maintenance is not regular

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in it. The faculty is very good and gives their best time to time and they not only cover course but help in life advises also. The faculty is supportive. There is only one exam semester exam which is easy to pass and there is some internals that is of 25 marks and the exam is of 75 marks. Internal includes assignments, tests, and 5 marks are of attendance. The faculty is well educated and the teachers too good. If you are regular in your classes then you will score well as you can ride with the flow of the teacher. The faculty knows how to complete the syllabus within time with all the concepts cleared .some teachers are average but the majority of the faculty is supportive. They advise you in every manner they can. Doubts are also resolved via WhatsApp or call as teachers are always available for doubt sessions. we have some smart classes or labs where teachers teach on whiteboards making the concept easier to understand and retain.

I chose this course because I had an interest in finance and commerce. The commerce and economics faculty of our college is quite known. the student-teacher ratio is appropriate and no issues have ever been seen. the teachers here are highly qualified. the exams were well timed and in curriculum and rigorous studies are required to score good marks.

A great journey of 3 years at this college

Likes

Crowd of the college is really good and appreciable.
Sports facilities are really good, there is volleyball, badminton, basketball court and cricket ground.

Dislikes

Almost negligible placement and internship opportunities.
The college is situates in a very congested and under developed area.

The course contents are good but not enough good to make you industry ready. Obviously, you'll have to learn more skills other than the curriculum. And the faculty is just okay, there are some very good teachers and vice versa

Placement Experience:

In the final year generally, you can apply for placements but don't expect much high salary. The highest package was 7lakh and avg is about 4lakhs. My plan is to pursue MBA as graduation is not enough for high-salaried jobs.
