- The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
- Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
- Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.
Dislikes
- College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
- The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
- Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

- Variety of courses and many branches of CSE available (though these are added recently, so you can get an idea that the teaching capability in those curriculum still need a huge implementation).
- Almost 0 ragging in our campus. (As of my knowledge)
- There is 1 library available. Library is kind of ok. Open till 8:30 pm (need permission for that).
Dislikes
- Unorganized, lack of management, need immediate improvement in infrastructure as this year(2025) itself college took 2k students and even having 3 buildings but huge verities of offered courses.
- For 6.5k students only one canteen with capacity of less than 150. You can find 4-5 small vendor food stalls during lunch and can get food only if you are good runner and have ability to handle the chaos like a small fair and have good luck that day.
- Up to 2nd yr as of my opinion I got chance to attend many faculties' classes and I can assure you 80% of them inexperienced and 50% of them 'chal jayega' and 30% of them are completely disaster. But of course there are 5-6 extraordinary faculties.

Placement Experience:
Being a Tier-3 college in comparision to other colleges at this level, I'll say the placement is a lili bit better.
Atleast more or less they bring some companies (of course don't except any tycoon name). So if you are enable to learn some skills and gain very basic knowledge in your niche atleast you will not find yousell jobless after 4 years no matter how less salary they offer you, sometimes even lesser than a chaiwalaa. :)

- Nothing everything is bad out their not so much skilled teacher hardly they have frew .
- The punctuality which they dont follow always late.
- Providing the Coursera license which is free pf cost
Dislikes
- Security guard is rude and with zero mentality and sense.
- They die for only Money and Money . No money no studies
- Not so much advanced classrooms and fields
Course Curriculum Overview:
As the technology is advancing rapidly so i choose byech in CST but the faculty and the portion they covered like having zero sense in every sem altering new new topics not constant on same topic .
They are charging 6 lakhs which is not at all upto mark .

- Too much crowded college compared to their classroom sizes
- Placement company like wipro didn’t mail us back after 2 rounds, and college and no answer, Accenture closed their recruitment drive midway from our college.
Placement Experience:
From 6 semester students become eligible for placement but if not trained individually by doing courses from coursera or YouTube then one cannot crack exams. College forces everyone to do a course from coursera every semester in order to get a job. And some companies like Accenture stoped hiring mid way, and Wipro did not reply after 2nd round only releasing the shortlisted student list for interview, and no interview were scheduled few companies like LT midtree and cognizant DN program gave placement opportunities with LT mindtree hiring 25-30 students and DN program being the only mass hiring opportunity . The average package being 4.5-4lpa only.
Till now i did not get any reply of rejection or selection process mail from cognizant and wipro, and college has no answers. Now i have to bridge my skills after college according to company to get a job.

- I don't like bengoli language because I didn't understand

Placement Experience:
The placement inside the campus is good but if I see outside the campus then by giving interview in different different company I will get. But inside campus from semester 6 start to get placement. And I decided to further studies.

- The Faculties are hardworking and friendly.
- The mess and canteen food are healthy and hygenic.
- Frequent sports, innovation ideas and cultural fests.
Dislikes
- Mandatory strict attendance criteria, u get debarred if attendance is low.
- Lack of a big playground have to travel far from the college for sporting needs.
- Over punctuality, gate closes at 9:15 and again reopens at 9:30 for less than 5 minutes, creates problem for day scholars relying on public transport.
Placement Experience:
From 5th semesteritself students are allowed to sit in placement drives and are elegible to be placed,
About 80% students are placed frequently by TCS and Cognizant.Highest packages from top companies as offered to students are not less than 72 LPA.

- Most of The teachers are amazing friendly and they teach well
- Campus is ok at best no playground or anything but alright
- Food is amazing the course structure is good

- The fuss over attendence over 14 days of leave over a semester = get debarred
- Gate closes at 9 30 and wont stay oepn for even a sec no matter if there is 1 student outside or 1000
- The amount of pressure put is unnecessary and syllabus is extremly huge
Placement Experience:
At the end of 3rd year people can start to get placement there are a lot of companies like tcs,wipro,cognizant 80% of the students get placed after i get my degree i hope to crack mtech or upsc as i want to go to upsc.

- Iht free structure of the college is affordable
- They give plenty of holidays and vacation after the semester end
- They provide pritty good placement for the students
Dislikes
- There are only 12 days of leave and if your leave exceed the 12 days then you will debard
- There is no AC in the classroom and The beaches are not managed properly
- The exams are pretty hard, you have to study everyday to get good marks
Course Curriculum Overview:
I would rate the course curriculum as fairly comprehensive and moderately relevant to industry needs. However, there are areas that could be improved for better alignment with real-world applications. And some subject are fun to study ????

- There is no ragging inside campus which provides good interactive surrounding.

- There is strict schedule which may hectic for some students
- There is no big playground as campus is in public place
- It has uniform system which may cause problem in summers.
Placement Experience:
In this college you have to do one internship in first year. It also provide summer internship gaps.
Here average package for CSE is Rs. 800000 per annum and has highest package is Rs.48 lpa according to college statistics.
Many companies like Cognizant, Wipro , TCS came every year.

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:
- It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
- The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
- UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
- The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
- UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.
These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
