- My college is among the topmost engineering colleges in the city according to the data till date this year, as it has already provided excellent job placements in the information and technology sectors.
- Campus placements are quite impressive and I like to participate in all the debate competition and fests occurs in the college
Dislikes
- There is nothing to do in sports.. sports department are awful
- The uniform is very uncomfortable and the shirt is not at all breathable

- The placement cell is really good. They work really hard to bring companies. And mostly people are placed. Infact in my case, even faculty people tried to bring core companies for EE students.
- The faculties are really good. Specially in my department, the professor were really helpful with academics, I enjoyed attending most of the lectures. If you are honest and sincere, you will be liked by most.
Dislikes
- No campus life. Honestly it's just a building with a small basketball court. You don't have cafeteria or halls where you can sit and gossip. It's almost like a school but even my school had a bigger playground lol.
- No extraordinary tech fests, events, programs or cultural fest. Since the buildings are divided usually people from gurukul building organise or have these things. I avoided the cultural fest every year lol. They don't give enough funds to organise.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is pretty relevant and really let's you choose from IT or Core based on your interest. I have had programming, DSA, cloud computing, ML and IOT that helped me understand my field of interest that was IT. We also had Signal and Systems, Microcontroller, Control systems, Digital Electronics that allowed few of my friends to understand they are more interested into the Electronics side whereas subjects like Machines, Power System, Industrial Electrical System that allowed few of my friends to understand they are interested into the core electrical field. Added to that there are some unnecessary courses, I think removing them would make it easier tbh. And i don't know including GATE into curriculum in 3rd and 4th year makes no sense, cause a lot of us didn't even want to pursue that, but all they said was we would regret not even attempting GATE.

- College Ambience is really good and it has a very large campus
- Like football, cricket, basketball and it has a annual function too called URECKON

- Faculties are very rude here and almost every time they used to tease for unknown reasons only
- The engineering people get all the good jobs the management courses like law and business have no security of placements
Course Curriculum Overview:
When I just ended my Class 12 it was a pandemic time and I am worried at first but then suddenly one day a call came and I get to know about this course, I was so overwhelmed by that course so I taken admission but I think it was a big mistake of my life now I am in fourth year and I still feel depressed when I think about it. Overall, the course was good but it needs some more practical example rather than giving notes of 100-200 pages

- This college has too much fees as in compare to other engineering private colleges
- Class rooms are not that much good and only lab rooms have been provided air conditioner

This college provides you linked in learning, and coursera and some other application like autocad in free This college also have some extra subjects like history,geography which is not actually applicable in your b.tech course

- Too much disciplined. So the students can not enjoy the college life. They lead a school life
- No chance for extra curriculum activities
Placement Experience:
From 4th semester the students become eligible for campus placement. Amazon,google, tcs,wipro and SAP Labs and other renowned company visited our college. And each company takes minimum 9 students. I don't know exactly about the package given by the companies. But minimum package is 3lpa. 95% students got on campus placement

- No thinks to dislike but the capas is some little place that is some

Course Curriculum Overview:
This course is very good and well known and duration is 4 years to graduation and 3 years to the degree and after this course we can do an MCA and also an MBA , the future in it company is very well and good

- The atmosphere where the college is built is very good, a nice place to enjoy your break with sweet breeze.
- The Discipline that is maintained inside college campus and also no sign of ragging.
Dislikes
- Spoken english of most of the faculty is not up to the mark which is really disappointing.
- Students might feel a burden due to long 9-4 college hours.
Placement Experience:
Placements will start from 3rd Year itself. Mostly all students will be eligible to sit for the placements. Many renowed companies do visit for campus placements like SAP, Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, LtiMindTree, etc. As per college 99.5% students gets placed. The average package stands at 20,000-30,000 per month. For me I dont think the numbers are good, so I would preferably go for MCA or work-integrated learning, that would boost the salary.

- We learn many more things except our main subjects which is really helpful

- Since I joined IEM I didn't get any bad experience.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:
The fee structure:120000 per year. Scholarships are also given. Anyone can apply. The complete course fee is 3lac 60k for e years. IEM is the top-ranked college of West Bengal. IEM gives the much more placements than any other college.

- This college has some really strict rules which one needs to abide by which ultimately helps in one's overall development.
- A strict anti-ragging environment is maintained here.

- I feel the playground area could be developed a bit more and the sports necessities could also be added on to.
Placement Experience:
From the 4th semester the students become eligible for the campus placements but the preparation and grooming does get started from the first day itself. Several companies like SAP Labs, Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Federal Bank etc come up to offer on campus placements here. This institution also ensures 100% placement and the average package for this course is 15lpa.

- Interior area needs to be increased more

Placement is no doubt best among any college in West Bengal even better than big govt colleges. Best placement is awarded to this college for a reason minimum every student will ofcourse get atleast 2 to 4 offers from jobs from best companies

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?
UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:
- It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
- The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
- UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
- The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
- UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.
