The regularity and placement cell efforts for the students were amazing and the curriculum and the exposure was also good

Fees and Financial Aid:

yearly i paid 70k+70k , a total of 140000 for 2 semesters. All charges were included in this .Some of the people also were admitted via management quota which charged around 14 lacs but they got around the same amenities as us. Overall the facilities were good.

Complete review of institution of engineering and management, Kolkata

Institute of Engineering and Management is one of the best colleges in West Bengal, which is centrally located in Kolkata Sector Five. The year was fees which is being paid by every D BTech student, irrespective of the streams is approximately 7.5 lakhs which include tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, administration, fee development and other compulsory charges during the course completion. The college takes an additional 1200 every semester for exam examination fees.

TRAININGS & PLACEMENT CLASSES FROM THE 1ST SEMESTER ONWARDS and our college also get facilities for the preparation of UPSC & GATE exam without any extra charges.

2 extra paper for different competitive exam along with semester papers.

In my college, fee in increasing every year by 20,000. i.e; per semester 10,000. My batch is 2022-2026 in my time fee was 1.5 lakh per year. Tution fee is around 75,000 registration fee is ?500(one-time) admission fee is around ?24,000(one-time), Development fees,lab fees and the other compulsary charge is 6000(one-time). Examination fee is not included in semester fee that is ?1200 per semester without back. There is no hidden charges in the college. There is another category of students is fee waiver in that student must belongs to the state west bengal with valid documents then his/her fee get reduced. One of my friend is paying 1,05,000 for admission and after that 57,000 for each semester. Alumni scholarship is given to around 30-40 students of each batch with Valid reason and valid documents if required.

IEM Kolkata: Review

There is a placement cell which constantly helps to revise our curriculum in pace with what is most needed for our placements. The Average package for CSE 4 year B. Tech on campus is 5.5 lpa and the median package for the same is 3 to 4 lpa.
There are conferences being held on various topics of mathematics, Computer science, biomedical engineering, English etc. Fests such as the techno-management fest and the cultural fest also happen where students come and enjoy themselves together.
One of the things that stood out to me was their inclusion of extra subjects in the curriculum from the beginning of the 1st semester only like aptitude, logical reasoning, Soft Skills and even at times topics related to History, Political Science.

The fee for our semester is 85000 and 160000 per year. Some hikes have been there. Around 4 years ago the fees for 4 year B.Tech course was 100000 per year. On admission they will take 1,00,000 (admission fees) and 5000/- for registration. Ftom then onwards per semester it will be 85000/- (given the fact they do not increase the fees). Then you have to buy the unifrom which will be around 6500/- and books which will be 8000/-. Now let me tell you, it was the biggest scam that they did. 8000/- for books when you won't even open the books for the whole year and the fact that every book is already in the library. So if possible just don't buy the books. No such scholarship is given as far as I know but financial aid is definitely given. If a specific criteria is met your entire semester fees is also paid by the college. But I don't quite know the criteria. Sorry for that.

The fee structure of this course is 85000 per sem.Students from poor families and those who are not able to pay the fees are given scholarships after verification. Student's from West Bengal can get scholarships easily

The structured and well mannered curriculum of all the semesters. The way they are treating the placements as priority before everything.

In my batch the per semester fees is 75000 and is variable in every batch and the payment of Rs. 1200 is extra chargeable for exam fee every Semester. The students of west Bengal got the scholarship from the college according to their financial condition.

Good engineering college ????

4 year Btech is about 70000 lakh for only tution fees of college and 10000 per year hostel fee . And 1200 semester fee .. Campus is very small just like school campus . Hostel is present outside the campus and very much displine is followed..

The reality of IEM

The cost of the course is approximately 7lakh and 10 thousands rupees in 4 year. and in 1st year if our family income is less then 2.5 lakh then we can apply for swami viveka nanda scholarship it's only for the west Bengal residents.

A good placement college lacking student life

Fees is affordable as a private college but this comes at the cost of infrastructure. State Government scholarships were available for West Bengal students. The placement was better than most private colleges of WB. But still improvement can be there as placements above 7 lpa + is less

Real life experience

The fees of IEM Kolkata are so much more affordable. At the time when I take the admission the fee per semester was 65k but now it is 75k per semester. There is also a scholarship opportunity. The placement of the college is quite decent. There will be on and off-campus placement opportunities.
