I have a few friends at the Haldia Institute of Technology and based on what I heard from them, I will suggest you to look for other options. Having a college campus in Kolkata will be advantageous for you. You can get IT in Techno India salt-lake main campus. If you don’t get Techno you can go for CSE in B.P. Poddar, RCC or St. Thomas, or any other college. Follow previous year trends of opening and closing ranks of the college and make a choice accordingly. Choosing the University of Engineering and Management (UEM), Kolkata can be risky because it is newly established. Even though it is under the banner of IEM, you can’t be certain about placements. Going by the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at the institute is 4 LPA.

But semesters are not easy, you have to study hard. UEM seniors are good. Few of them have created video games for android and built non-framework cars. In the 1st sem you have to pay 97500, in the 2nd sem you have to pay 95000 and from the 3rd sem onwards you have to pay 87500 every sem. You will have many scholarships in which you will get atleast 30-40 thousand rupees.

In first year semester 1 120000 and from 2nd semester to 8th semester 95000. Registration fee is charged but their is no charge are taken for lab or any course. And fee of all batchmate are Same. I from jharkhand so I have no idea for scholarship

Mandatory strict attendance criteria, u get debarred if attendance is low.

The admission fees each semester is 85000/- excluding the hostel fees, at the end of each semister we pay the End Semester Exam fees which is 1200/- after which we get the admit card and can sit for the Exams.The Admission fees above mentioned includes the development fees, registration fees, development fees, lab fees and no external charges are applicable during the time of course completion. This fee structure is applicable for day scholars and private PG students, those who wish to stay in the college hostel have their charges included in the Semester fees. Most of my batchmates are day scholars and hence they pay the same amount whereas some of my batch mated live in private PG so for them too the semester fees are only applicable. But some live in the college hostel they pay extra as the hostel fees. Tution fees are also externally added with the semester fees if a student is i n need of tuitions under the college faculties. Student loans and scholarships are also available for all students studing here.

My experience at UEM KOLKATA

The total fees structure is 7.85L of the entire course.the fee payment done by semester wise,95k per semester and in the year 1.10L year.there is tution fees waver for the sc,st students and there are also scholarship available for the students

Review of UEM Kolkata

At the time of admission you have to pay fee of Rs. 110000 which include admission fee , one time non refundable fee and semester fee of first semester. For rest of the semesters you have to pay Rs. 85000 per semester. SVMCM scholarship is provided for students belong to west bengal. There are many more scholarship available as per your state od residence.

Everything you need to know about UEM

Admission and first semester fees in the year 2024 is Rs 1,20,000/- and from 2nd sem onwards it will be Rs 95,000/- for all stream and branch available. Whereas semester fees for the batch 2023 was Rs 85,000/-
