Hostel Facilities:
Uem Kolkata hostel is not good as the college. And hostel is outside approx 2 km to campus.The food we got in the hostel is very bad. But the rooms and washrooms are very good though. But with friends it was good

- Most of the faculty members have completed their doctorates from renowned institutes like Jadavpur University, IIT KGP, IIT Kanpur etc. and hence are extremely well versed in their areas of education. Most of the professors are extremely helpful.
- The teachers make you feel comfortable and help you timely in achieving the required curriculum. There are frequent seminars being held on various topics which are relevant in the current world such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Trading etc.
Dislikes
- The First thing everyone will say is they have a uniform that you need to follow which everyone thinks should be removed.
- Then one of the things they can improve is the campus and the building. Our college campus is situated in Sector-V, Salt Lake area, Kolkata. Due to shortage of land there the campus is fairly small. So the campus life is almost negligible here.
Hostel Facilities:
I opted for hostel. I will straight up say, since there is no campus so the hostel is nothing but a medium sized apartment. And if you can see a PG paying guest), go there. Do not opt for hostel. They will take your hard earned money for a whole year so you are bound to stay there. And the hostel is full of restrictions and its connectivity to the main market place and other areas is also very diificult. Meal quality is okayish, nothing great to expect. You would get the normal Daal, Roti, Sabzi, puri, paratha at times. Chowmein slathering in oil, maybe poha a day, idli etc. The two areas where the PG s are Nayapatti and Mahishbatan. Out of the two I would say go for NAyapatti. It has good environment. All the necessary items, fast food chains, places to chill a bit with your friends etc. are also present and IN PGs there is no restriction. You can roam around freely till 11pm unlike in Hostel where the gates are cosed by 7:30 pm. Unbelieavable !

Hostel Facilities:
My Hostel room is quite comfy, and the room feels good. The food is mid. 5/10. It's not that bad but not enjoyable as well. I myself don't prefer their meal. For menu, you have 3 days for chicken in the week. Fish, eggs are also provided. 8000 for veg 8500 for non veg. The fees is paid annually . The main problem is the students who live their. They smoke, drink and all but I don't think there's any disturbance in the neighborhood .

- Campus is very small .only four building is present in kolkata.

Firstly hostel is present outside the campus.so you can not feel about college life and very resistisation are present in hostel . You should not go outside the hostel after 7 pm . And food is not so good .

- College group is too short but enough because for sports they take you to another places
Hostel Facilities:
For no spaces in my hostel I chooses PG which is a little bit better decision because for a year PG rent is about 70-90k whereas Hostel charge is 1lac. In Pg we got clean bathroom facility, a locker , a small table, fridge for students and meal is better in our PG. Registration process for hostel is that you have to apply on website or you can also do this when you are taking admission . And if you want to live in PG you can go to Nayapatti or MahishBathan

Hostel Facilities:
Hostel facility is very nice, food is so good in quality as compared to the rate Registration process for hostel is so simple, you have to choose you need hostel or not at the time of admission form fillup. The hostel rooms are medium 3 sharing rooms are majorly available You have to pay the full annual fees of hostel at the start of the academic year. There are also so many pg and roomstays are available in front of the campus also many food stalls are there which are open throughout the weekdays.

roooms are very good . in one room their are 4 to 6 people with fans and lights with every bed.food is also good here.no one disturbs here. everytime warden comes to check us.they are very good like mother.

- In exams they ask only what they teach in their class notes. So if you follow the notes it will be very easy to score good marks.

- Fees is too high. Although there are a lot of facilities, still the fees could be a bit lesser.
Hostel Facilities:
Rooms are small but good enough for 2/3 people. Food quality is okay, timings flexible. Easy registration, just fill out a form and then you get access to the hostel warden's mobile number where you can contact him for further inquiries. Hostel is located in Natunpukur, near Patharghata, behind Downtown Mall.

- Campus is not very big. You can't leave the college in between the college times.
- The pressure of exams and practical are very terrifying.

Hostel fees is Rs 100000 per year. Hostel have good environment and amenities. You have to buy your own drinking water. You can't leave the hostel after 7pm. Food is average. They try to provide balanced diet which include good amount of protein and carbohydrates.

Does UEM Kolkata have hostel facilities?
UEM Kolkata has hostel facilities but it is not within the boundary of the campus. There are two separate hostels for boys and girls. The boys’ hostel is approximately 1 km away from the campus and the girls’ hostel is around 10 km.
The hostel is costly as compared to the other PG and private hostels. The food is also not so good and often repeats the same meals twice a day. Basic amenities are provided in the hostel but they also lack certain facilities like providing transportation to the campus. There are quite a number of problems with the hostel such as
- No connectivity with the main road.
- There are often long and unusual power cuts.
- The food quality you get for the price you pay does not justify it at all.
- Girls have to reach the hostel by 6 pm and the boys have to reach by 7 pm
- Costlier than almost every PG and private hostel situated there.
- Management asks for a one-time payment and there is no other option to pay the fees.
