Course Curriculum Overview

I have done Btech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The duration of the course is for 4 years.In good environment with the help and guidance of high qualified faculties of UEM Kolkata my course was great.

Class Size: 128Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Placement Experience

???? UEM Kolkata offers good placement. I got placed in Cognizant and in my batch (2023 pass out) cognizant, mindtreeLte, Accenture, Capgemini, Tata Consultancy services, Wipro are the mass hiring companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

UEM Kolkata has many branches for engineering and management. It has btech, BBA, BCA, MTECH,MCA. For btech it's fee is 75 thousand per semester and their are eight semesters in btech full time course.

Campus Life

UEM Kolkata campus is too small to explore but with good friends, good and high qualified faculties the campus life was very good. Good greenery front of the campus looks awesome. And everyday 9 to 5 is like corporate.

Hostel Facilities

Uem Kolkata hostel is not good as the college. And hostel is outside approx 2 km to campus.The food we got in the hostel is very bad. But the rooms and washrooms are very good though. But with friends it was good

Admission

You have to give their own exam named IEMJEE or you can get admission through WBJEE and JEE. And need 60 percent in physics, mathmatics and chemistry in higher secondary examination from any board....

University of engineering and management Kolkata is one of the best engineering colleges in Kolkata. It has good number of faculties with good and high education..Most of the faculty members of UEM Kolkata are phd holder.

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

One of the best dairy technology colleges

Placement Experience:

Almost 100% of the students can get placements if they study well and learn well. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our college are Amul, Mother Dairy, Red Cow, Metro, ITC, Thackers, TCS etc. Students can get various types of jobs like dairy development officer, dairy technologist, farm manager etc.

Excellence with good culture of academic and infrastructure

If frustration would have a definition.

If you want to join ths college you have give IEMJEE (their own admission exam) or through WBJEE Exam. But don't worry pal half of it's admission is done by management quota and rest of the seat is seal by external broker.
