Likes
- I appreciate for the environment of the college as it is well disciplined college not so shouting inside anywhere also the faculty are very good especially for the Computer science and Engineering department in BTech.
- Quality of social interaction is also good but not that much good as the college have a medium size campus not so fancy type but it's like the classes and halls are well decorated and infrastructure are quite nice but it has to be improved more.
- The faculty and there teaching skills are quite good and easy to understand but some faculties are not that level of good , the professors are very good in the college also HOD of CSE department is very kind and understand students concern.
Dislikes
- I dislike the campus size it need to be extend or need to be improved also some labs have defect computer and its accessories that must be improved
- Also I more thing I don't like that there are no active clubs related study and stuffs but there are many active clubs for extra curriculam like dancing singing etc. but there is so active clubs like coding Ai ML clubs etc
- Also the food they served during recess is not good the quality of the food is cheap but the students ate that foods on compulsion but it need to be improved
Course Curriculum Overview
The BTech degree from CSE the curriculum plus subjects are good enough for the placements and all also there are good facilities for the programming and dsa related stuffs The curriculum is kind of average not so good , I think it can be taught in many universities also but it's okay They need improvement on more focusing on programming and dsa also AI subjects and topics Timing for exams is fair enough and difficulty level is not so high, I got 8.7 cgpa overall so the exams are so difficult neither so easy
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees I paid was 1,60,00 INR There is no category wise fees , it's all for same fees that overall yearly for 2 semester 1,60000 INR, and for registration it will be around 40,000 INR for the first time only There is a scholarship test also and also sholarship from our alumini is there if someone's financial condition is not so well they can apply for it .
Campus Life
There are many technical fest also cultural fest is there named esctasia also annual sports meet , intra college football cricket basketball and table tennis tournament is there There is a well defined library where you can find mostly all the books and journals as well The faculty use snarts boards and there own laptop to study and give lectures using technologies Yes there are many clubs like dancing singing sports clubs also innovative club is there and many more clubs
Admission
I didn't choose this college actually I had no other options and many of my friends got admission on this college so that's why I also joined this college also I got offers from Amity University of Kolkata also Techno university new town No I didn't get rejection rather I applied this college itself because my seniors are there and they tell about the college also there placement rate is high than other colleges so that's the reason I choose this over others Eligibility is 12th pass and if you scored a good marks in JEE mains kr WB JEE then you can directly got admission in IEM kolkata
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio are like if there are 60 students there is only one faculty for that and then it changes according to different subjects but it's enough for the students. I like our HOD ma'am and her teaching skills also hee behaviour towards students she understands the concern of students that other facilities didn't understand so well named Maumita Chokroborty ma'am. There is no such faculty I didn't like but ya some faculty teaching skills I didn't like that much. Per semester 2 internal exams and 1 semester exams is there within 6 months of time and the question paper level is easy to medium and the previous year questions you got from the library itself so you can find the patterns and questions level
Night Life
There is no such night life as the campus get closed after 7pm and there is not attached hostel for the college so that's why not such night life is there but ya there are cafe library and public area small Campus timing from 9 to 5 and hostel timings are before 9 pm everyone should be inside hostel There are so many hangout place outside the college also 2 malls are there in front of the college also kfc dominos subway reliance Mart all are there also pvr cinema all is there within 500-600 metre
