The syllabus and curriculum mirrors the present real world requirements. Disorders, statistics, questionnaires are all included in the curriculum. The reputation of the college, and reviews from senior students influenced me to take admission to Bethune college. The college environment changed me a lot, my personality got improved, I got to know more about life, my perspective about life developed. I think demonstration method should be introduced it improves the teaching. The exam timings got affected for the election's and questions were bit intellectual but helped to improve writing skill.

I'm BA psychology and I love my course here!! The faculty especially is really dedicated and in terms of practicality it's very up to date with then labs and instruments if you are interested in that. Even though maintanence is a slight issue there as it is a government college there is issues with the maintanence but to be honest the faculty makes up for it

The curriculum offered with the course is appropriate and shapes u for ur future job prospects. Teaching methods are perfect as per the curriculum suggested . I personally chose the course for my keen interest in the field. Others might have different reasons as to some might like to help people in distress while others would watch out for the present statistics of the growth of job prospects in this specific field. The exams are quite difficult because of the fact that the college is affiliated with the Calcutta University and the university is known for its difficulty level although the difficulty level is certainly worth it
The subject of Psychology has always been of great interest to me, I have always wanted to pursue a career in psychology. Among all the other colleges in Kolkata, Bethune College has one of the most popular and renowned Psychology departments. The team of highly qualified professors take a keen interest in nurturing young students and helping them understand what awaits them in the field of Psychology. A team of five Professors bring forth their years of experience and knowledge while teaching a class of 38 students. Not only do they actively carry forward the course curriculum, but they also stand as tour guides and mentors when you need them. They make the student's exam ready and provide all the necessary notes or lecture slides needed for scoring high percentages.
