Actually I'm not aware of internship that much but each department gives the opportunity of internship in the summer vacation naming it summer internships. It is actually 15 days internship and an examination also takes place on the basis of it and the marks got printed in the result as well.

There were many internship available from Tata, tcs but since we were from physics faculty. We have different level of pressure and so we Didnot applied for any internship but the other department did applied and done many internship

The college provides few internship opportunities now and then, however there aren't many for psychology students. With the new curriculum the situation might change. I do not have much information about it yet.

I was a part of the Indian Museum, Kolkata internship group. Others had their internships at Tantuja, the state library, Kolkata and other places. The internships were a huge success as we came to learn a lot.

There are not much internship opportunities as much as I know specially for the Arts section or like the Humanities section , But we do go for summer internships which is a unpaid internship to gain experience and knowledge

Internships are available in the University and now from the CCF pattern it is compulsory for all students to get Internships which are conducted by the College only i think this is such a unique thing that started recently it will help students in the future with a lot of things.

Students become eligible for placements from semester 5. A few local companies conducted placement drives in our college but they failed to grasp our attention as they were offering salary on the basis of performance and weren't clear about their job profile. TCS was the biggest company that invited students from our college for job opportunities in 2023. The salary package was low ranging from 4 to 5LPA. Most of the students preferred continuing with their studies as they wanted to become counsellors or clinical psychologists because these professions offer a better pay and more perks (independent nature of work, ability to provide better help to people etc).

We have summer internship opportunities as per NEP rules. Other than that we have NSS unit which takes part in social services. We have a placement cell also. Companies like Infyosis, Tata etc. provide jobs to college students.

Internship opportunities in Bethune are bounty, for my course I'll be getting a internship in my second semester itself, the internships are not very practical and informative at least to say and the certification courses are also a huge help in the long run when it comes to career building and also personal development

In the first year of college, you'll be offered internships in various new found societies and companies which are non payable but they offer a certification which can be useful for building a stronger CV.
