Department of Business Management, Calcutta University has begun inviting applications for its two-year, full-time MBA programme for the academic year 2026-28, with the deadline set for June 19, 2026, offering dual specialisation with an exit option after 1 year (Diploma). Eligible candidates can apply online through the university’s official admission portal, caluniv.ac.in.

General category candidates have to pay the application fee of INR 1500, while SC, ST, and PH candidates for West Bengal have to pay a fee of INR 750. The application fee will be submitted to the State Bank of India, Calcutta University Branch, IFSCode- SBIN0007766, Account name: University of Calcutta. Account Number- 10444444211

Calcutta University MBA Eligibility & Selection Criteria

According to the official notification, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Technology/ Medical Sciences/ Professional Courses/ or their equivalent from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate score in CAT, MAT, XMAT, JEMAT, or other relevant UGC specified National Level Entrance Tests.

After meeting the specified eligibility criteria, shortlisted candidates have to appear for a personal interview and a group discussion.

Furthermore, interested applicants can downloaded from the Website: caluniv.ac.in and submitted to Department of Business Management, University of Calcutta, Alipore Campus (6th Floor), 1, Reformatory Street, Kolkata- 700027 between 11 A.M to 3 P.M on all working days, along with filled in application form, self attested photocopies of Mark sheets from School leaving to the latest, Caste or any other reservation Certificate (if applicable) and Internet Banking Receipt of application fees.
