Each year, we all dance together during a festival called blitz, which is pretty enjoyable.
The college has many scholarships for bright students like the apj abdul kalam scholarship for pol science students.
Good teaching faculty that helps us to engage in college activities

Dislikes

It happens sometimes that classes are cancelled and teacher does not give prior information about the cancellation of the classes that waste the time of the students that can be used for studies
No real time projects in the course- there was very less learning as they had the fixed curriculum which needs to be followed and no real time or interesting projects related to the course
The faculty member is good but not better than my expected level

There are many things I like about my college is our teachers.
Teachers of my college are very supportive and helpful for the students.
In our campus there are very big playground for students

Dislikes

Class are very small and tubelight are also old
Bench of our class room is old and defective.
In our college cantain food price is very high.

Satyawati college provides us so many courses.B.a program is one of them which consists of several combinations of subject. I have provided combination of political science and Hindi in b.a program. After graduation I have to go through with civil services examination in which polity is major topic so I choose political science in UG.

In my college there is many societies for skill development of the students.
The auditorium of my college is the biggest auditorium in the university of delhi
I liked the quality of professors in my college. They all teaches excellent

Dislikes

I disliked casteism in my college and also stateism
The students politics is very dirty in this college
The food of canteen is average and also overpriced

I choosed to pursue this course because i wanted to become a civil servant. The political science department helps me a lot in my journey of upsc. I advise you to choose political science department for the preparation of upsc. The frequency and timing of exam is good after 3 months there is an exam

Satyawati college : A review from a nerd

Likes

Faculty is excellent and supportive and you get various tests in a month
Social interaction are good you meet with peoe from various states
Girls to boys ratio is 60:40 and Ncc is there that is big plus

Dislikes

Sports department needs to get better as there is no basketball court in the college
Placemets need to get better mostly studemts never get chance to get placements
The college is politics driven and haevily into DUSU elections

The professors of the college were very nice and helpful
I made some really good friends and had a great college life
Our college auditorium is the biggest auditorium inside Delhi University

Dislikes

Politics was very important due to which the atmosphere became very bad.

We never saw any curriculum activities happening, if you are a sports person then there would definitely be some sports. Teachers study according to their own convenience and make students write notes so that children do not face any difficulty in the paper.

This the college that allows you exams even without 75% attendance.

Likes

Proximity to metro stations and well connected to every memas of transport
NCC was the best part here. Full of enjoyment and discipline
A few teachers here are really boon for the students

Dislikes

Atmosphere during Union Elections. The wastage if paper was the worst part.
They don't offer any placement. Students have to work on their own. Throughout three years of my graduation I never saw a single company visiting the college for placement.
The infrastructure is also quite old and the water coolers rarely work. Washrooms are always broken and smelly, very much similar to public washrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum I would say is a bit hard compared to other universities but this will at the same time help you when you apply for any government exam related to economics. Also, will help you much in you postgraduate program. The use of foreign authors' books can be considered as a con for some students. Not everyone can understand the words easily. All the principles in economics are based on assumptions and hold little relevance in real life situations but certainly are important to understand how economy works. Regarding difficulty level of exams, I was good at Stats, ecotrix and MME, so I found those subjects easy compared to others.

Satyawati college is too good for me I had a great experience here all the professor's are very helping all the facilities are given to us in this college ,they offer us a beautiful study environment there's a Library for all us that is toooooo good
We have a fully ac Library and a fully ac kanteen that offers us food on lowest price the quality of food is too good every one likes that and sitting arrangement for students is very beautiful there In this college I had a great experience with all
Our college is one of the best colleges of Delhi University we are all blessed to have a college like this and we like to attend all the classes there professor's are very friendly so we enjoyed the lecture with them that's never so boring to us

I have choose to pursue English honours in satyawati College because I was too interested to study the philosophy of English and literature of the world and I thought that my decision of pursuing this course is very right because the syllabus the teachers the professors of this department are as expected they all are so kind to US and I was syllabus is what I like to study in the starting I saw it difficult but when I consulted with professors and study to so I see that the pursuing English honours in the college was a good decision because the because of the teachers and my syllabus and examination pattern the everything is as expected

Experiencing Satyawati college

Likes

The political science faculty was the bedt in entire DU
The campus was mesmarising and well maintained.
It has the largest auditorium in entire DU

Dislikes

The canteen food quality was average and unhygienic
Classrooms were not modernly equipped development required.
Also, this college is infamous for its politics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love to study and research about political science, what political world actually is and moreoves this as i am a upsc aspirant it will help me in all over the exams right from the prelimns , mains till the interviews also optional. So, according to me those are willing to take PSIR as their optional must go on with political science hons and the syallabus is also quite similar to upsc.

Likes

College has Good teaching faculty. All teachers are well educated and experienced in their feilds.
Full AC college canteen open all the day.

Dislikes

The crowd of the college isnt good as the outsiders freely roam in the college
Less attention towards sports and not encouraging students towards it.

The course curriculum is preety good and designed in a very effective way that one can go though very easily along with guidance of teachers and other faculty. Exams are held twice a year. For a 3 year course we go through a set of 6 semester examinations which is fair if we talk about the difficulty level.

Satyawti college has excellent sports department . The sports meets of the university show great progress . The college also has football+Cricket ground , kho-kho , tennis and badminton courts .
The college campus is very eco friendly and neat. College has good and excellent environmental department .
The department of political science is one of the best in the list of central university of delhi . College keep a good results as good as other colleges .

Dislikes

Satyawati college has smaller campus compared to other colleges of central university of delhi .
The infrastructure in satyawati college is not that good . But it's good and effective .
College has a good and excellent librery system with modern technologies .

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students can apply for the campus placements . Students with academic percentages above 60 65 percentage have a good chance of getting placed through campus placements , with the highest salary package offered being Rs 43 LPA in the year 2022 and the average salary package being around Rs 4 , 5 LPA . The top recruiting companies are PW , Boat , Zomato . My plans after getting degree is Cracking upsc with high rank that's y i choose political science as my major .

I liked the nature of this college teachers are are to humble and good and there are many facilities available in this college like in this college cantine food are so good and playing area is very nice we can play what we want
And also in this college teacher are very good thir skills are very nice and excellent they teach us very nice
And there is girls and boys separate center to study that was is good for both girl and boys

Dislikes

Nothing here to dislikes but if u ask there guards and staff members are not so good
And nothing so much to dislikes overall college is good
If they tight their guard security that was better option for them

I choose ba program because I want to read political and history and other etc subject of the ba and that's nice and whenever I go to exam exam time is good 3 hours aree good for any exam written they also teach very deeply in their subjects

Satyawati was a part of the Delhi University campus before it was relocated to Ashok Vihar.

When you are admitted to one of the DU colleges, you place a high value on education. There are many amenities in college that other colleges do not have, one of which is the Largest Auditorium at DU.

It's a good college with friendly students. The seniors are helpful. There are numerous co-curricular societies to which one can belong. Ragging is prohibited at the college because of the anti-ragging policy. Except for a few, the teachers have extensive experience and training. The building's infrastructure is adequate, and the classrooms are also spacious. There is a fantastic library as well. The canteen is excellent. The ground is in good condition and is well-maintained.
