The curriculum of our course has been rated as one of the best in all of India.
I did many internships during my college time, though it was not a part of the curriculum, but they gave a good foundation to my career.

Dislikes

There are no internships, even though marks are given in exams. As a result, 90% of students fail in any subject.

The professors are really good. There are even some retired judges who teach in the college. Also they are very helpful and co-operative.
The college offer various societies among which one is moot court society which essential for a law student andit is very active as it give opportunities to a student to explore the practical experience of coort.

Dislikes

There are very few placement opportunities. So the student themselves have to find internships and Job opportunities outside college
Also there are various societies in the college but most of them are in active

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course structure is quiet different from 5 year LLB as the college provides case based study. It is more good for the real law world as we understand the Law from the core, its history, interpretation and applications of the law.

Infrastructure is new for law center 1 and 2 classrooms are so big

Dislikes

Water facility is not so good after complaint also no action taken

I am preparing for upscale exam that's why I additionally opt for llb as a plan B . But this course also help me in my upsc preparation also For teaching speakers should be installed in classes so that the voice of teachers we can hear properly

The Truth About FACULTY OF LAW

Environment - this centre is placed in North campus, full of greenery and all the main colleges and office of DU are placed near.
Faculty - faculty here is well qualified and big names. For example belu gupta mam, who herself an ex-judge, sourabh Rana sir who cracked many exams

Dislikes

Water- no drinking water facility till our first year, but now they are providing water after students protested against them.
Wifi- no wifi facility till first year but now they are providing the wifi .

Placement Experience:

Mostly third year students are eligible for placement. Some of the companies visited in year 2024 are kotak mahindra bank, craft legal outsourcing pvt. Ltd. Average package is 5 lakhs. Only 1-5 students are selected. I want to work in corporate law, I am currently searching for internship in this field.

Service for justice

Likes

The university offers a rich experience of diversity with students from diverse background and interest. Since the colleges are close proximity with one another there is ample of opportunities to socialize and build connections.
The university also host different seminars regularly. There are also different societies that caters everyones need and dreams and provides a room for learning.

Dislikes

The teaching standards are something not upto to par. Most of the teachers communicate in hindi despite it being an english medium college.
The infrastructure also need improvements. Class amenities needs to be greatly improved. Like fans and cooler and ac if possible . The bathrooms are not fit fir such a respectable university

Placement Experience:

Students in 3rd can start applying for placements. Few lawfirms offers placement and the percentage of students getting placement is quite low. It roughly be wounded upto 10% of students. After my degree i would go for further studies

The crowd and the exposure you get here you get no where.
The college socities very active specially legal aid society

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the college is not sufficient and lacks proper library.
The teachers are not intereseted in teaching often involve in student politics.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculam is good , the case method and practiale way to look the law is very good but the case mat need revision, deletion of old cases and addition of new. The timing of exams is not very clear and the exans are bit moderate to difficult.

Wide Exposure into the field of law that would help me to enhance my legal knowledge and learn about the practical dimensions of legal field

Course curriculum has been designed to be easy to understanding and exact as to provide the real legal knowledge which will not only help in gaining better insights into the legal world but also on how to apply it into practical life while pursuing legal carrier. The course as being designed by highly educated faculty members and highly experienced personalities worked in the ground level and delivered various judgements engrained into the history, is highly enlightening to the studens of the faculty of law. Also the faculty members being highly educated and experienced in the field of law helps in understanding the jargon and technical aspects involved within the course curriculum.

Delhi University's Law Faculty is awesome! The teachers there really know their stuff and help students understand law in a practical way. They make learning fun and interesting.
there are lots of chances for hands-on experience through things like mock trials and internships

Dislikes

While Delhi University's Faculty of Law has its strengths, it also faces challenges. Some students feel that the infrastructure could be better, with issues like overcrowded classrooms and limited resources
Additionally, there have been concerns raised about outdated teaching methods and a lack of practical exposure to real-world legal issues.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of course is too good because it includes the subject from TORT, CPC, IPC, CONTRACT, FAMILY LAW , EVIDENCE, CONSTITUTIONAL law , COMPANY , INTERNATIONAL LAW , PROPERTY LAW in very which descriptive way . The curriculum includes all the real life case study so it is easy to see the real application of law. I think they do not require much improvement because they keep improving themselves every year. There is semester system and exam held twice every year generally the teach you for four month and then there will be exam and the level of exam is too good that if u get 70% you will be the topper of course.

pros and cons of Delhi University

Permanent faculty members are v nice, improvement needed for guest faculty .
string alumni base helps you a lot in building connections in all courts across the country .

Dislikes

societies and extra curriculars can be made more efficient in the college alongwuth the teacher convenors
delay and cancellation of classes at last moment is an avoidable situation for law faculty students

The curriculum offered in DU is pretty much good and is according to the standardised system of education in other colleges . there is scope for improvement in the college faculty selected temporarily like guest faculty. The exams are pretty good and the standard of the exams is also upto the mark .

Campus life- here campus life is so good here is so good for exposure.
College - For name and fame, exposure where students get easily internship and job. By the name and fame of this college.

Infrastructure - There is nothing proper campus to play or doing anything but infrastructure of building is so good.
Placement- Here placements cell is not give any effort for placement of students.

i like the building structure of my college and amenities in the college
there are so many cheao food stalls nearby college so its very easy to find food near college
