The Best Law College in India

Hostel Facilities:

The faculty does not have hostels for itself like other PG courses. The students who require accomodation generally prefer private accomodation but the university has several hostels and the students from this college can apply for them as soon as they secure an admission into the college. The University of Delhi has a total of 17 hostels, including 2 hostels for international students. The system for applying for a seat in the hostel in completely online and the process begins even before the final admission is confirmed. The volunteers from various student organisations are a great support as far as getting hostels is concerned and students must approach them is they face any difficulty in securing admission to the hostels. The hostel fee ranges from ?12,000 to ?13,500 annually of which almost half of the amount is kept as a security which is refundable at the end of the year.

Good effort

No, I have not opted for hostel. But let me tell the truth I can’t get college hostel because seats were very less in no. I live in pg where I have to pay 7000 rent for food and for to live. Apart from this electricity bill has to be paid by me. Other expenses were also there like transportation, food eating outside etc.

Very friendly environment

University hostel rates around 8 to 10 K including food. Hostel provide facilities like food, sports room, security guard 24 hours on the gate. Hostel infrastructure also good. There is separate hostels for boys and girls.

There is no separate hostel for college but combined for university and food quality is not so good .as compared to private colleges as but inspire of that infrastructure is good separate rooms are provided with combined hostel for girls and boys even . As overall it is very good hostel as charges are nominal is just 500 or less than that just to pay for your food and other activities only.

College with a great legacy.

The college does not have a hostel of its own. But the university hostel provides a certain number of seats ( never more than 40-50) to the college. Students are given priority on the basis of their ranks & category. As a result of this a lot of outstation students are forced to live in PG's of flats that can cost anywhere between 5k-20k depending on location, facilities provided, etc. A well furnished, fully equipped PG near the college area will cost anything around 15k-20k per month on a sharing basis.

Campus Life:

The campus life is amazing as the Faculty is at North campus which is famous for college life. One the biggest festival here is the election time. Also you can go to other colleges during there fest. As everyone in this college has already done there Grad in different field so you get to interact with student from various field, understand things from there perspective which is amazing.

The Truth About FACULTY OF LAW

Dislikes

Water- no drinking water facility till our first year, but now they are providing water after students protested against them.
Wifi- no wifi facility till first year but now they are providing the wifi .

Don't expect a huge fest or fresher, our fresher is conducted in front of college, just dance and some fights also , time bound enjoyment. Books are available in lc2 library but in limited numbers. No AC rooms which is quite reasonable in this much fee, and no smart classes, which is not required. No sports events just a normal event conducted at our time . Many societies are made but only few of them are active.

Service for justice

The library is well maitained and offers a ruch collections of books. It offers of the most complete set of books fir law i would say . The faculty host a number of fest every year not less then 4 in a year which is usually held around april and may. College anual fest, freshers party northest fest to name a few . The facilitates and technological provision in the classroom are almost nil .with each classrooms offfering no more then three working fans . While the rest of the university host a rich and vibrant sports culture the faculty of law itself does not it is almost non existent. There are a number student run groups and clubs they offer a better understanding of various subject. And offers an students to learn real life experiences.
