About Law College Dehradun
Law College Dehradun, unlocked its gates for the students in the year 2002 under the patronage of Sushila Devi Centre for Professional Studies and Research. Being the first independent college of Uttarakhand, it offers an out and out legal education to its students.
It offers courses like BA LL.B (Hons.), LL.B. (Hons.), BBA LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Doctorate Program in Law to its students.
4.1 How to Apply?
Admission to LL.B, LL.M, and BA/BBA LL.B is done on the basis of Uttaranchal University Entrance Examination or UUEE conducted by Uttaranchal University.
Admission to Ph.D. is granted on the basis of score secured in UGC-NET (JRF)/UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE/Teacher Fellowship followed by Personal Interview conducted by the University.
The college conducts admissions both online as well as offline. The aspiring candidates can fill in the registration form and complete their registration online or can fill in the form and post it along with the application fee.
There is a relaxation of marks for SC/ST category candidates of 5%. There is a 5% reservation of seats for differently abled candidates according to the set norms by the Government of India. For seeking admission in the Law College Dehradun, one can both register online or offline.

- Merit Scholarship: There is a facility of merit scholarship for scholarly students of B.A. LL.B, BBA LL.B. and LL.B programs only. The university also has a provision of scholarship for Uttarakhand State Domicile Scholarship for students of 26% for the domiciled students of Uttarakhand.
- Learning Environment: The college houses a synergetic learning environment which is student oriented for them to experience wholesome learning.
- Cafeteria and Restaurant: An air joint Nescafe Cafeteria and a spacious restaurant is established in the campus of the university itself for the students to unwind their grueling days.
- Hostels: There are on-campus separate accommodation facilities for both, boys and girls. Their hostels are all groomed up and furnished with all the basic amenities. There is a lawn for recreation purposes in the students’ hostels, common rooms for indoor games, television and other activities, laundry service, guest house, mess, library source access, Wi-Fi connectivity, and ATM facility for the students.
- Medical facilities: There is a first-aid service available at the campus for primary attention to the students in need. The hostel has a liaison with the best hospitals of the city for attending the ailing students of the university. - I like this college because this college provides me the better facilities to learn and adjust accordingly in this campus as the faculty is very supportive which provide me the good motivation as well the syllabus pattern is very nice so to learn
- My engagement with this college is very keen to learn as i take various parts in other campus and social life. The social interaction with this college is vast where i made new friends who are very knowledgeable and by them i make changes in me.
Dislikes
- The college atmosphere is sophisticated where students can't involve in other cultural field which make them more liberal with studies. The college campus is not much large so that everyone will move freely
- When we talk about the faculty then the faculty is strict and they only focuses on theoretical perspective not on practical things. As well as library is not much large so that every subject books will accomodate easily. oo

I have choosen this college because this college is very nice in uttarakhand area especially in dehradun where the other college do not provide this best opportunity to learn and gain together the law subjects and the students especially chooses this college because this college make them prepare for the judiciary, litigation, corporate as well as also the othe domain subjects which the law students keen to learn. I didn't get any rejection from other college as i have applied for the clat ug earlier but due to corona i can't able to go for nlu so this is the best option to go with

12th pass in any stream and more than 55 percentage in 12th. Application form is available online and offline. Application fees is 1200. There are 2 exams per semester. Make it more easy to fill and less costly .

Interviews and entrance exams are also conducted if you were not better at the above mention points. The admission process is easy and cannot be done more better.

No, I don't take any entrance. Eligibility is 45% marks in the 12th standard. After CLAT any student can apply. If drop then gap certificate required. Scholarship given on 95+ marks. No entrance is a required registration form to be filed online by going on the Uttaranchal website. Then registration letter will confirm your seat. Unversity will approach and explain the further procedure beforehand.

I only chose Uttaranchal university as my priority for pursuing law. I did not avail of any quota. for the admission, they asked for 10th marks sheet photocopy, 12th marks sheet photocopy, TC original, Migration Certificate original, Character Certificate original, Medical Health Certificate original, Address proof, Adhar card, 6 passport size photos, 1 passport photo of parents, Printout of online Anti Ragging Affidavit, There was no counselling session held because of covid, They gave admission based on the 12th mark sheet.

Law College Dehradun was recommended to me by one of my friends during the lockdown last year. I got myself enrolled by filling up the admission form. They usually conduct an entrance test but due to lockdown, it was impossible at that time. I compared that collage with other famous ones. I found a difference that Law College Dehradun is providing quality education at low prices as compared to other colleges where children were enjoying a materialistic world. Then I focused on the faculty and found some reviews over the internet where Law College Dehradun was ahead in the race. Some YouTube videos gave me the inner view of the college which is beautiful at the first sight.
