Law College Dehradun is the first independent Law College in Uttarakhand, founded in 2002. The college is affiliated with Uttaranchal University and is also recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI). It has campus area of 100 acres.

I like this college because this college provides me the better facilities to learn and adjust accordingly in this campus as the faculty is very supportive which provide me the good motivation as well the syllabus pattern is very nice so to learn
My engagement with this college is very keen to learn as i take various parts in other campus and social life. The social interaction with this college is vast where i made new friends who are very knowledgeable and by them i make changes in me.
The placement cell is very supportive and the students here are keen to take these placements. The atmosphere of the studies are very strict here and the students can easily intake this because this provides them with better opportunity

Dislikes

The college atmosphere is sophisticated where students can't involve in other cultural field which make them more liberal with studies. The college campus is not much large so that everyone will move freely
When we talk about the faculty then the faculty is strict and they only focuses on theoretical perspective not on practical things. As well as library is not much large so that every subject books will accomodate easily. oo

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

Yes the course curriculum is very good to go as they have manage the subjects per semester very wisely and for the students they will easily handle and cope up with the legal era. I have choosen this course because i want to go in litigation and this college provides me all the base for the subjects which will be helpful to me in this. The curriculum prepares me for a real world as the course make me prepare to go through all the litigation matters and their provision easily which is must to know. The pattern as the course is formed is nice to go as all the subjects will be covered and the students can easily cover this in per semester and can easily give exams as well as there are practical subjects which will make the students to intake the course thoroughly.

What are the placement opportunities in the college?

The placement is very good in this college as the companies which come in this college is of tier 3 firms which provide the students an opportunity to learn and gain an opportunity to work with them. The level of placements for the students here is in final year as students have to fill the placement cell form and then they if opt in then they will be eligible to sit in the placement. The company here are law boutique firm from delhi, bangalore, mumbai. As the companies here have a package of 4 to 5 lakh annum. And the percentage of students getting placed is not much high as only 20% will be getting placements. And my plan after getting this degree is for masters only.

Students views about the campus life

The festivals rate are not much higher as this college provides the students the yearly fest where they bring one or two singers for the entertainment. As the fest will go for atleast 4 to 5 days where different programs will occur. The other festival here are holi carnival and diwali carnival as well as new year festivity. The range of books available in the library is not much more as only the related books are available. There are no manuscripts available. The bare acts are available, but not much more. The technologies in the class is normal as the board rule is followed, no smart classes are available. The social group in this college is not bigger as there is no time in this college for the social group.

Faculty and examination pattern of the college

The faculty to student ratio is large as for each subject in law there are many professors to which students can go and take help regarding their specific field. The faculty is approachable when they will be free in their cabin and they can help you in any way you are under dilemma. The faculty never discriminate between students. The faculty i liked the most is of civil law az well as criminal law as they have vast knowledge. The atmosphere of faculty here is very educative and they can mentor you till the time you want. The faculty i don't like is of the faculty which do not have much experience in the legal subjects. There are 2 semester per year and per semestet have its own sessional exam and then end semester exams and atleast till the 4th year there are 6 to 7 subjects per semester

I have choosen this college because this college is very nice in uttarakhand area especially in dehradun where the other college do not provide this best opportunity to learn and gain together the law subjects and the students especially chooses this college because this college make them prepare for the judiciary, litigation, corporate as well as also the othe domain subjects which the law students keen to learn. I didn't get any rejection from other college as i have applied for the clat ug earlier but due to corona i can't able to go for nlu so this is the best option to go with

A small but thorough review on law college Dehradun and Raja University

the main reason for me to take admission in this college was that this college was very close to my house so I don't have to leave my house and live in another city for pursuing this course this also had been saving a lot of expenses concerning hostels or paying guest services along with food and convenience facilities. Law college Dehradun being one of the oldest private colleges dad provide education in the field of law it was started in the year 2002 and law courses made public and since then it has been a great place which has provided many judicial officers and great attorneys who are contributing to the field of law and to the nation.

No to very minimal cultural events that too where boys are girls are seperated and made to stand seperately with barricades between them.

Admission:

I got selected for NLU assam through clat but couldn't go there because of person reasons. Then I applied to Upes and my college and got accepted in both on basis of merit. I chose this college because the discipline was remarkable, the placement was very good and they have a curriculum planned in such a way that it is helpful for judiciary. This college have large list of judges in various parts of India and students placed at very good places. The building and campus is very beautiful and various socities different for various activities. No I did not get rejection from any college I applied to. The reputation and success rate of this college was better than the other private colleges I applied to. Students who have cleared their 12th are eligible for the 5 year course and for 3 year course the student must be graduate. There are various modes of admission like clat scores , 12th scores and entrance test. The most preferred mode is 12th exams marks. The overall admission experience is very easy and the counsellors are very helping and friendly.

55 percent in 12th, you can fill out the form online then the college facilities reach you online. There are no entrance exams in our college. There are no difficulties in the admission process. The application dates are start in June and continue till September

Admission:

The admissions are done on the basis of the merit by seeing the marks of the students in their 12th or can also be done by getting good marks in CLAT exam. No, I don't take any entrance. Eligibility is 45% marks in the 12th standard. After CLAT any student can apply. If drop then gap certificate required. Scholarship given on 95+ marks. No entrance is a required registration form to be filed online by going on the Uttaranchal website. Then registration letter will confirm your seat. Unversity will approach and explain the further procedure beforehand.
