COLLEGE LAWNS: The lawns are best in the college surrounded by greenery.
The college campus is very beautiful and has lawns and gardens.

Dislikes

Food of the cafe is not good at all you can become ill as well.
It's very hard to sit for one class in morning and other in evening

Proud to be an ELSA.

Likes

College campus is beautiful and maintained especially the lawns.
Professor's are well qualified from top universities and are very helpful.

Dislikes

Some days we have classes at very long gap such as 1 lecture in the morning at 8:45am and next at 2:30 pm.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college is very good. Big companies like BCG, McKinsey, Accenture etc held their placement drive in our college. The highest package of our course was 18 lpa and average is 6-7 lpa.

LSR - How does your dream actually looks like.

Likes

Starting with the number one thing I like about LSR is the atmosphere here. It feels very positive and welcoming.
Next up is the variety that you get to see here in terms of societies, departments and fests.

Dislikes

When talking about things I dislike there is not much to say here but still number one would be the time table that is curated of our department especially with very large breaks in between two classes
Next would be a few of the faculty members who do not seem good when teaching and it feels like they just want to conduct one class for the sake of it - but this is a little rare

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is really nice. Last year, one senior from our college got a placement of 47 LPA. On an average, the placement of our college is 20 LPA. The students become eligible for placements in the last year of college before which they are free to do internships. The percentage of students getting placements, however, is not very much or very appealing. My plan after getting the degree is not to get placed but to prepare for civil services and pursue higher degree alongside.

Placement Experience:

The Placement Cell of Lady Shri Ram College for Women serves as an interface between the students and the recruiters. In addition to bringing a varied list of recruiters to campus, it organizes workshops, seminars, and internship opportunities for the collective student body. One is eligible from the 5th semester to sit for the placements. There are various companies such as McKinsey, E&Y, Bank Of America, BCG, Bloomberg, KPMG, Genpact, etc. to offer full-time positions and over 115 students have received offers till now. The average package offered stands at 7.5 LPA. The highest package in the entire Delhi University of 37.8 Lakhs from Bank of America was bagged by one of the LSR students. The placements also accommodate various students from departments like English, History, Psychology, Journalism, etc. I wish to go for civil services after my undergraduate.

Student's Review On Lady Shri Ram College For Women - [LSR], New Delhi

Remarks:

The admission process in 2019 was really good. It's one of the best and prestigious colleges in India and Delhi University, has an amazing arts program. The environment is welcoming and the education is excellent. I didn't use any website or blogs for making a choice regarding the selection of universities.In semester 1, the students are required to take Environmental science and sem 2 requires us to take English communication as an advanced level course. Both of them last for 6 months and finish by 1st year. By the time we are in sem 3, we are provided with SEC which is a skill enhancement course and one has a variety of subjects to choose from. Also, LSR follows a very strict policy of assignment submission. Attendance is Veryyy strictly marked and sometimes even honest reasons don't seem to convince the professors enough. All in all, there will always be even in my personal opinion, very fierce competition from every student. So, choosing the right friend over another is like walking on cracked eggshells. Managing societies and at the same time meeting professors' expectations could be very exhausting. All in all, it provides a highly dynamic experience to all its elsas!

Delhi University has the top colleges for Arts. Being an Arts student it's obvious that I wanna get into a good college so that I can do my Master's in better universities. My college 'Lady Shri Ram' is ranked second in this year 2020(NIRF Ranking). That's the reason I choose to go to DU.

About my LSR

Remarks:

Ya. Our college was nice and everything provided here was reasonable.I love the way LSR is. But when it comes to outside living in Delhi/outside of college it's very difficult to bare the expenses, food,people from different backgrounds and mostly language,as I'm South Indian it takes some time to mingle and adjust to the conditions here.
