Life In HRC

Likes

The faculties are well trained and educated which makes it easier to ask doubts
The campus is big with beautiful greenery and big playground
My favorite spot would be the library. It was always packed with students that it motivates you to work hard

Dislikes

There is some partialty among students which makes it hard to mingle sometimes
The food in the college canteen can be improved
The desks in the classrooms can be changed as some are damaged

Placement Experience:

The placements start around the month of July for the 3rd year. You need to submit your CV according to the format provided by the placement cell in the college. The placement offers are divided into 3 Tiers. Tier 1 consists of placement offers from 10 LPA and above, Tier 2 consists of offers between 6 LPA and 10 LPA and Tier 3 of 6 LPA and below.

Life at Hansraj College, Delhi University

Likes

The Faculty at Hansraj is amazing and teachers are genuinely trying to help students
Sports activities available and also the sports equipments are well organised and conditioned
The Library is equipped with all the latest books and one can rely on library rather than wasting money on buying readings

Dislikes

The newly inaugurated the matti cafe is so expensive that being students canteen is only in our affordable range
Some of the old classroms are equiped with A/C but they seems not to be working

I think from the final year final semester the students became eligible for campus placements and if you want to know more about the placement scenario at different colleges you must visit ht e college website or the placement cell of that particular college The average package offered at Hansraj is 6LPA and the highest is 20 LPA. Mainly the job profiles are from the finance sector. The BCOM and ECO hons graduates are the most students in demand. As I am doing CMA as well I am not dependent upon college only for the placement however if I didn't get placed through college or CMA then I can approach companies through LinkedIn. It is the skills that matter the most degree is just there to make you eligible.

Likes

The college provides us with many opportunities and encourages us to participate.
The facilities are good and support us to perform at our best.

Dislikes

There was no non veg being served

Placement Experience:

There are placements offered by the college. There are job melas and internship drives as well. The highest package received last year was 20.5 LPA. The average package was 5.7 LPA. About 70% of students received placements. My plan after getting the degree is to work for a year or two and then apply for MBA in abln abroad country.

In the 3 year , Students of B.com(hons.) become eligible for the campus placement and They can register themselves with the Hansraj Placement cell and internship cell , where all the details regarding companies coming for placement , job profile offered and salary is shared very conveniently and they can apply for the placements by logging into same portal. The average package offered during my tenure is around 6-7 Lakh p.a. There are 3 tiers , T 1 - Company offering CTC above 8 Lakh p.a , T 2 - Company offering CTC between 5-8 Lakh p.a , T 3 - Company offering between 3.6 - 5 Lakh p.a , More than 75% student applying got the job offer by big 4 , bain , ICICI , HCL ,etc.

Hansraj - A Dream college for commerce

Placement Experience:

The students of B.com (Hons.) become eligible for campus placement from the third year i.e from the 5th semester. Many big giants and well renowned companies visit the campus for placement such as Big fours, Accenture, Banks, etc. The average package offered is around 6-7 Lakhs p.a and most of the candidates got the job offer with good job profile.

Hansraj - A Dream College

Placement Experience:

From 5 semesters, i.e from the third year, students became eligible for the campus placement and can apply for placement via Placement cell. Many good companies such as Delloite, KPMG, PWC, EY, bain, HCL, Wipro, ZS Associate, etc. came for the placement. Over 80% of students who applied for the placement got the job offer and the average package is around 7-8Lakh p.a.

The best college i ever had

Course Curriculum Overview:

There was 8 talks in a day in our school every one of 60 minutes. Likewise, there was a Tutorial talk of 30 minutes of every staff during the week for extra classes and critical thinking. We can likewise reach out to the workforce in the staff room. Generally, numerous workforce is around 30 years of old and all the staff were truly strong.

HANSRAJ COLLEGE SHINES AMONG ALL DU COLLEGES

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is very good to get knowledge of commerce and business. The course is of 3 years and is divided into 6 semesters in the college with subjects like income tax, business mathematics, financial accounting, audit and assurance, cost and management accounting, stock market investment, business laws, companies act, companies accounts, etc. The faculty here is also very awesome and they are very renowned in their fields. They are the authors of the books followed by many colleges in the universities as well as the universities throughout India. The teaching method followed by them is also very interesting and engaging. They give a lot of activities research work to students which help students with overall development. The college also conducts an internship fair so that students can get the best placements and learn as well as earn. The exams are also conducted regularly with weekly internal tests to check the learning of the students. The teachers are also very very cheerful and helpful

Hansraj college, DU (my personal Review)

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for Campus placements from their 5th semester. They may apply to any job profile and company of their choice and get an opportunity to work with them. Some of the famous companies that provide offers to our students are Zomato, Deloitte, KPMG, and many more. The highest package at our campus varies from around 25 LPA TO 35 LPA and the average package is around 6 LPA. Some of the famous job profiles offered are junior Consultant, marketing, auditing, sales, and many more. The percentage of students that get placed through on-campus recruitment is around 50-60% of people who apply for them. My personal objective after getting the undergraduate degree is to work for a few years with a corporate firm and then own a small business in the food industry.

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.

Here are some of the best things about the institute.

This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
North Campus has the best college location.

You will not regret choosing the institute.
