Remarks

The interested candidate has to register himself on DU's official website which is du.ac.in and need to fill out the application form from the same website and need to pay the necessary application fees. Candidates can select for reservation while filing the form, cutoffs will be released on due time on Du official website and the candidate can check cutoff for the Hansraj college for b.com(Hons.) By logging into the website. If he/she is satisfying the cutoff then they can report to Hansraj college within the respective time for admission confirmation. Eligibility - One must study maths and secured above 50% marks in maths, however, they can leave maths while choosing the best 4 but must include English and then any 3 subjects while calculating the best of four.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have heard a lot about Delhi University and Hansraj College and I also wanted to explore the field of finance due to which I opt for B.com(Hons.) and I'm very satisfied with my decision as teachers are well qualified and experienced and The exams are always conducted on time and are of good and moderate level.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are available in ample numbers through Internship cell and anyone can apply for internships and can get the exposure and stipend. Many good firms came for internships and have offered good internship profiles and stipends.

Placement Experience

From 5 semesters, i.e from the third year, students became eligible for the campus placement and can apply for placement via Placement cell. Many good companies such as Delloite, KPMG, PWC, EY, bain, HCL, Wipro, ZS Associate, etc. came for the placement. Over 80% of students who applied for the placement got the job offer and the average package is around 7-8Lakh p.a.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is around 20k for one year for B.com(Hons.), Hansraj College which is in comparison to any other college of India is economical and good. Various scholarships have been offered to students of weaker sections and also to toppers of the batch.

Campus Life

Hansraj has the best library in the whole Delhi University and you can avail the services for free and can borrow or read books free of cost. The classroom has all the amenities required. Hansraj is popular for lovers' corners and its beautiful ground where you can relax, chill and play with your friends.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
