Likes

Infrastructure is good. Campus life is very diverse
Faculty members are experienced enough to teach
Placement is also very good around 8-10 lpa for bcom hons graduates

Dislikes

Faculty members didn't complete syllabus on time
Campus is also very small as compared to some good colleges
Library here doesn't re issues books for commerce department

My course name is Bachelor's of Commerce Hons. It's one of the most demanding course of Delhi University. It's very tough to get here in bcom hons. My faculty members are good enough but they are not supporting much

I disliked the old classrooms of the Colleges but it is being renovated now

Placement Experience:

Form 5th semester students become eligible for college placements. Many companies like bain and company, BCG , Accenture , Gartner , Deloitte, ey , PWC , rsa , byjus ,Wipro,puma , KPMG, axxela etc come for placement Highest package was 36.5 Lpa average package was 7.9 pa , for top 25% students avg was 13lpa 540+ offers were made , gross package value was 40 Cr+ If you are a bcom hons student placement % is around 90% My plan is doing mba after degree

Likes

I like to read the books apart from my curriculum.
I like to play badminton and I am also a great athelete.
I love to watch webseries and to eat when I am in bad mood

Dislikes

The first thing I disliked the most is that life is so boring.
I do not like people who drink and smoke
I disliked people who belive in racism and discrimination

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I am preparing for CA so I found this course purposeful in my CA journey. The teaching ideology of teachers are very creative which creates a great knowledge environment in the class room. There are 2 semesters in my college which are regularly held at an interval of 6 months, a year

Infrastructure is quite good in hansraj college.
Campus life is best in north campus of delhi university.
Hansraj college is at 3rd place in DU for bcom hons

Dislikes

College area is very less . Shuru hote hi khtm.
Principal of hansraj college is the worst principal

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Numbers of companies visited in hansraj college and the package goes upto 20lpa approx and the average package is approx 7lpa. Approx 85% of the students of bcom hons course get placements in hansraj college.

The Campus of hansraj College is very nice.

College is overhyped . Entire north campus is overhyped

Course Curriculum Overview:

The student teacher ratio is approx 85:1 which is quite high. Professors are very experienced and have a great extent of knowledge. Exams are conducted semester wise and level of the exam is easy. Pyqs play a crucial role.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCom hons because i am a commerce student As well as university of delhi is known for commerce and arts mainly Professors are highly educated and qualified However NEP has created a lot of chaos for the students as number of subjects have increased . Only semester exams are conducted. And as time is less and number of subjects have increased its not also the fault of the teachers. Hence students have to mainly be self dependent

The course curriculum is very lenient and understandable as per first year review. I chose this course as I was also preparing for CA foundation...and bcom hons has quite similar subjects that helped me to save my time

Hansraj College, a perfect place for you if want to enjoy while studying.

Likes

The campus, infrastructure, crowd and the overall vibe of my college is really great.
Each classroom has 4-5 functioning air conditioners that give a rest to high temperatures in the summers.

Dislikes

Sometimes the teaching standards are not upto the mark in some subjects.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement after 4th semester in 3 year programme. Companies that visit the colleges vary every year, some of them are Dell, Amazon, tata, Deloitte, PWC, Accenture, etc. These are for commerce related colleges. Top colleges are visited by companies like McKinsey, Bain, BCG, etc. Highest packages could range upto 34 lpa and the median package is 8-10 lpa. My plan after degree is to get a placement and after some experience, pursue MBA from a top B-School.

Students can apply for campus placement in the last year many companies visit for the placement season highest package was 3500000 most of the students were placed however many students opt for higher studies after graduation.

Infrastructure is very good many opportunities are there to outshow your talent and there are many labs also such as computer lab physics labs chemistry labs etc and in every class there are AC install in it there fore student care us being done.....
College society and its placement cell highest package 37 lakh
Faculty are also best therefore environment is also good

Dislikes

Administaton problems are common no quick action

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.

Here are some of the best things about the institute.

This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
North Campus has the best college location.

You will not regret choosing the institute.
