Hansraj College, a perfect place for you if want to enjoy while studying.

I opted for b.com hons as I want to go into finance while keeping a commerce background. The faulty at my college is very experienced, some professors even authored famous books and articles. The faculty: student ration is around 1:60. Most of my professors are PhD and we'll qualified with good teaching experience. But as we know, the teaching in du is not upto par and therefore, students study by their own from YouTube or other sources. The exams take place regularly and are at a moderate level till now, but are heard to be more difficult on the future

Students are eligible for placement after 4th semester in 3 year programme. Companies that visit the colleges vary every year, some of them are Dell, Amazon, tata, Deloitte, PWC, Accenture, etc. These are for commerce related colleges. Top colleges are visited by companies like McKinsey, Bain, BCG, etc. Highest packages could range upto 34 lpa and the median package is 8-10 lpa. My plan after degree is to get a placement and after some experience, pursue MBA from a top B-School.

Course fees for Bcom hons is only rs. 25515 per year, which is very affordable. But it is my opinion. Many students come from families that are not particularly well off and this could create a hindrance in their education. There are many organisations providing financial relief to such students,.helping them fulfill their dreams. There are many scholarships of cash and kind. One of them is the dell program which provides laptops to ews students. There are no on campus jobs other than internships and placements

Hansraj College does not organise fests due to permission issues from the principal, but other than that there are many small events that take place regularly in the college. The campus life is one that every one should experience atleast once in thier lifetime. College library has more than adequate amount of books, and if not, we still have the university library. Library also have fully functional computers which are relatively advanced and costly but free for students to use. Sports facility of some colleges are not upto the mark. Colleges have courts but they are not well maintained so naturally professional players don't play on them and they degrade day by day (courts). There are many groups and social media pages run by the students. Some of the are learnDU, college Instagram pages of each college, watsapp groups like DUconnect ,etc etc.

It was very smooth. I opted CUET and this year, unkile the past one there were no hiccups. The application form for the same can be found on the official sites like cuet.in/ samarth.in. One thing that could be improved is the allocation of exam centre as sometimes the students living in Delhi had to travel to Merut to give the exam. This process could be simplified and would provide a great help for the students.
