Course Curriculum Overview

I am commerce student and for for my masters degree I opted for this course. In every college of DU there are all types of students from nerds to not nerds . Teaching method is not quite good . Generally nobody attend the classes, all the students study themselves. And to pass in your exams you have to study form last 20 days of exam left . And it is quite easy

Placement Experience

From 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Numbers of companies visited in hansraj college and the package goes upto 20lpa approx and the average package is approx 7lpa. Approx 85% of the students of bcom hons course get placements in hansraj college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in hansraj college is higher than other colleges of DU. For bcom hons you have to pay 23625 for 1 year. You can also receive different types of scholarships by hansraj college. You can also applied for the scholarships by the government.

Campus Life

Campus life if very fun in Delhi University specially in north campus of DU. The fest is season is amazing. All books for your are available in your college Library. Air conditioning classrooms. Sports and eca.

Admission

You have toh 12th pass and you should have accountancy/ mathematics as one of your subject and any two other subject and 1 language subject to be eligible for this course by cuet . You have to give these above subjects as compulsory to apply for bcom hons course. You can find the application form on cute.samarth.com and to apply in DU you have to fill CSAS form on du.ac.in . If you availed reservation then you can get good college at lower marks. And the admission process is easy.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say that SEC and VAC, were added by the university to enhance students mind, but these subjects feel more like burden to the students. And also the theoretical and numerics being taught, are not relevant to todays world, as curiculum in the books is not upto date, The assignments pressure.. and sometimes the fear of getting low marks.

MLNCE - Average but Enjoyable

Placement Experience:

The placement in Motilal Nehru College (Evening) is decent and is led mainly by the Placement Cell. Though inactive earlier, the placement cell has become significantly more active recently, bringing in more internship and job opportunities. Students become eligible for placements during 3rd year. In a good placement season, companies like Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY come for Audit, Taxation, Risk Advisory, HR jobs. Other companies like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Capital IQ also come during job fairs. Earlier, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Flipkart have also recruited from the college mainly for Sales, Business Development, Operations jobs. Highest on-campus package is ?18.7 LPA and rhe average package is ?3.6-4.5 LPA. Approximately 40% to 50% of students who participate in the process secure placements. My plan is to get into freelancing after college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In regard to the relevancy of the course Im quite fond of the subjects such as BL CA AND HRM they give us the better insights for both practical and theoritical knowledge making us ready for the "real" world . As For the improvement i feel like there should be some flexibility in GE so that students can choose a sub as per their choice as Hindi is fixed for me which isnt quite suitable for my course and it just drags my CGP down. The frequency if the exam is okay but the timing I feel like its way too fast just after first sem exam we had classes and all test and felt like it went on a spur

An Unfiltered View of SRCC

Placement Experience:

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
