I cleared my CA Intermediate along with B.com(H) as I wanted to pursue a career in finance these subjects were similar to CA Intermediate which helped me do it. Various courses requires an undergraduate degree so it is mandatory. Sem 4 and Sem 5 were most difficult according to me as many students got Supplementary exams

the college is a renowned one the curriculum has real life applications and is good for higher studies teaching methods should be develped from indegenous to smart as smart classrooms are present computer labs have minimum seating which needs to be increased to accomodate a class at once

i have chosen b.com hons because that was mainstream and i had commerce in my +2 .moreover the curriculum was interesting because of the introduction of new subjects like auditing and taxation, those were interesting and has prelevance and prepares you for real world situations .frequency of timings is twice in a year

Placement package of this college is very low or average, but it is good that they are providing placement for the course like b.com . Most of the students of this college don't study for the placement from the college there preparing for other jobs or higher studies from the beginning of the college year.

I would like to rate the course at 6/10 because almost every commerce student is pursuing b.com hons. Resulting in less opportunity and more unemployment.. a student must comsider various circumstances before doing this ..

Every year placement do occur. Some company comes and you need minimum 7.5 cgpa to apply for the placements here. You'll get a package of 5-8 lacs pa and i think for a bcom graduate it's quite enough after college.

Students become eligible for campus placement in the last year which is 7th and 8 semester one can apply for internship or job from 7th and 8th semester. The highest package offered was of 11 lakh so far. And the average package is 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Like most of the Goenkans I am also thinking of pursuing CA as a profession but for now I am focusing on my BCom degree and after my BCom degree I will complete my MBA from a good reputed college.

The course curriculum is according to UGC. It includes all the relevant subjects of B.com hons. Every semester has atleast one hons paper. The examination of non-hons paper is in MCQ format and Hons. paper is in written non-MCQ format. There is an internal exam before every semester examination of 20 marks.
