no entrance exam is needed. the college's merit list is on higher secndary marks. eligiblity is you need to pass class 12 with good marks. if you don't scoe above 90 percent then you can't get admission withour reservation. online form is uploaded on the website from there you can fill it.

Admission:
The application process was seamless and the eligibility criteria for unreserved category is an aggregate of 75% and other categories have some relaxations. The number of seats available is 549 and the clases start from the month of July. Application form can be found in the Goenka admission website after the results of HS is declared. The admission process is merit based and there are no such entrance exams. The frequency of exams is quite less compared to private and other govt. college of different states. Goenka college holds one or two nternal examinations before the final exams which is of 10 marks in each paper. The time given to complete all papers is 2 hours. The main final exam which is held by the Calcutta University is of 80 marks each. Depending on the subjects the segregation of marks may vary. The final exam papers are quite tough compared to other Universities and the exams have to appeared by the students in different colleges each semester.

Admission:
Generals for this course require minimum 95% marks to take admission in this college. And also SC, ST, OBC require minimum 85% to 95% marks to take admission. The application form of this college is available on the college website. A minimum of Rs. 600 per semester has to be paid. Admission can be taken here after class twelfth exam. There are reservation for SC, ST, OBC A and OBC B. Apart from these, some seats are reserved for those who are physically sick. Here the main exam of every semester is conducted every six months is conducted in between. The admission process here is really good. So there is nothing more to say about the improvement of the admission process.

Science and commerce stream students are eligible for this college, atleast have to score more than 60% . But the cut-off normally above 88%. The application form are available on the college website via online. Yes st, sc , obc and minorities can take the advantage. 2 exams in a year (semester) If they Stop giving the advantage of minorities people that will be great.

- The best thing I like about the feeling of being a part of this college. We have very experienced teachers. We have strict rules which restricts the students to cross their limits. The seniors are very cooperative.

- The campus is a but small but as a government college we cannot ask for more. And they need to be a little more concern about cleanliness in the college.

Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration is West Bengal's No. 1 College for commerce. It has very less fees so that students from every background can take admission in this college but the cut off of the college is very high. For general catagory it it more than 90%. The admission is totally depending on the merit of the students and marks of 12th exam. All the information is available on the website if the college. The cut off of other catagory is less than the general catagory. It goes below 90% and fees is also low. Class test are taken by the college and internals and semester exam is depending on university. There was no as such problem in admission process.

There is no entrance exam for admission into goenka college for b.com hons. You just have to score around 92 percentage in 12th to get into the college. 93-94 would be a safe score. Merit list is released and according to you percentage your name will be there in the list.

I'm studying B.com hons course in Goenka College of Commerce & Business Administration under Calcutta University. They prioritise Atleast 90 percentage & above marks for getting the admission.I filled up & Submitted the admission form through online process & I've paid 950rs for the application. My opinion is to ruin the admission process defined by caste basis.
