Placement Experience:

Every year placement do occur. Some company comes and you need minimum 7.5 cgpa to apply for the placements here. You'll get a package of 5-8 lacs pa and i think for a bcom graduate it's quite enough after college.

Big companies come in goenka for placement, many of our seniors got placed from the college campus it self , avg package is 4 LPA and above

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement in the last year which is 7th and 8 semester one can apply for internship or job from 7th and 8th semester. The highest package offered was of 11 lakh so far. And the average package is 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Like most of the Goenkans I am also thinking of pursuing CA as a profession but for now I am focusing on my BCom degree and after my BCom degree I will complete my MBA from a good reputed college.

I liked the campus placement facility of the college. Many of friends having 7.5+ CGPA got placement in Ernt and Young offering a annual package of 1000000 per annum. This facility enabled us to work hard for the semesters.

Placement Experience:

On passing 5th semester, the students of Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration are eligible for campus placement offers. The campus reach out college during our sixth semester to interview us. After passing sixth semester we can proceed with the jobs in case we qualify. All the Big 4s viz EY, Deloitte, PwC and KPMG including with MNCs reach our college for campus placement opportunities. They definitely select students each year. The highest package offered till date is 10 lakhs with a associate profile. The average package is 3 laks. The percentage of students getting placement offer is between 5% to 10 %. My plan after the BCOM course is becoming a successful Chartered Accountant and Cost and Management Accountant.

After 4th semester like mid 5th semester the companies comes for the placement various companies like TCS, Deloitte, Wipro, ITC , HDFC bank.. they take interviews and some of them take exams after which they offer placement, average package would be 350000 and highest package would be 1500000.. At my time reputed companies like Ernst and young, and DE Shaw came for campus selection. Where Ernst and young was offering around 3.5 to 4 lpa, DE Shaw offered 10. Both the companies had their own requirements and onboarded students accordingly. To be honest there are not ample opportunities since most of students themselves opt out for they are pursuing CA CS OR CMA courses. Or want to go for higher education.

The placement opportunity is good in our college because not every B.Com Honours college gives placement.

Our college provide placement. For getting placement you have to complete the full course and after getting the degree you will be eligible for campus placement. The company that vists in our college is Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC and many other company. The highest package is approx 5 lpa and average package is 2.5 lpa. The rare of placement is approximate 65 %. My plan after getting the degree is to look for a placement and then study for MBA .
