Most of the time the campus life is a bit boring but there are many events hosted by this college like social and cultural programs political as well as awareness rallys and programs blood donation camps freshers parties etc.
Our life in our college campus is very good.our social life in our campus is excellent and college provide many things for student in there free time like games.

Admission:

I applied to Saint Joseph College of Darjeeling, Reva University of Bangalore and Amity University of Noida I got accepted from all the colleges I applied to, including siliguri College of commerce, of course. I chose Siliguri College of commerce because of the convenience. the admission process consisted of filling of the form in the college website itself, and then if you get accepted, then you have to go to the college for document verification.

The infrastructure it one thing that I'd like the college to work on
I really disliked the fact that the college premises were opened for the non-students all the time

Admission:

I applied to salesian college as well but in the end decided to not join the college and opted for Siliguri college of commerce basically because of the fees structure and also the timings for the classes, we had evening classes while gave us the opportunity to do many other things in the morning. I had scored good marks in my 12th boards so no I didn't get rejected by any college I applied to. The process for application in Siliguri college of commerce is quite easy, the student need to fill in the online application form provided by the collegeand submit it, if the students fullfill all the criteria then they are selected by the college.

The college provides certification of north bengal university which is a very well known university.
It was a evening college which means one can work in day and attend college in evening.

Dislikes

College infrastructure should be improved.

The eligibility of the course is that you have to pass 12th from any board with 65 percent above marks . After that you can apply for Bcom from siliguri college of commerce website by paying a nominal admission fees

Every kind of facilities are available in the campus, such as bike stand, canteen, hygienic toilets and bathrooms etc.
It's one of the old colleges of Siliguri hence it holds a good reputation among students. Being an ex student of college i feel proud of it.

Dislikes

Supporting staffs are rude, they're not helpful at all.
Our college lacks digital classes. Hence it's far behind from the today's reality.
Infrastructure is very old. Benches and the whiteboards are not in good shape and conditions.

Admission:

Admission process was solely based upon the marks we've secured in our 12th standard. Now students need to apply on WBCAP.IN. Application fee is somewhat around 3600 rupees and dates are announced somewhere between july August Reservation benifits can be taken by the students having reservation status. But I couldn't able to avail due to the lack of certificate. University exams are taken half yearly and before the university exams students had to go through internal exams for assignment marks of 15. Based upon the internal exams marks and the attendance, teachers used to distribute marks. Difficult level of thess exams are not too very high. One should devote his 2 hours on a daily basis to score a good mark.

There are so many extra curricular activity for the students.
I liked the environment. The college is in the main road but there are less noise

Admission:

Should be passed 12th from the recognized board. It can be found on the official website. There are benefits for the reservation such as in ascending order ST, SC, OBC, & GENERAL. The timing should be increased as I said earlier. They can ask for simple and fewer documents for verification and addmission.

Love and hate relationship with this college

As it is a night college so it's very unique
The college campus, playground and location is very spacious
The college festivals organised by the college is worth attending for.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not upto the mark, there are no any washroom provided for boys.
The non teaching staff are very rude and don't know how to behave well

Admission:

For eligibility you should have passed 12th with 75% and above (comm) for general quota students. And there is relaxation for sc/st/obc quota students. Online admissions can be done it is not necessary to come to college. There are 2 semester exams in a year and the difficulty level is quite hard.

The semester system in the college was quite easier to understand and the college infrasture was clean and tidy
The campus environment was very peaceful and disciplined.

Dislikes

The campus life was too boring for me because their were not many events related to college
He college staff other than teachers was sometimes rude to us.

Admission:

The admission process for this college was very easy. This college selects students on the basis of class 12th percentage. There is no entrance test pr interview needed to be selected in this college. The application dates is somewhere between July and August and application fees is around 600 to 700. I think there should be an entrance test for the application of students in this college. The reserved candidates get seats around 10 to 30%.

The admission process was conducted online by filling up a form on the college website, there were different level of cut-off according to our caste, the only think I didn't like about the admission process was that there was differentiation between caste for cut-off everyone should have been given equal importance.
