- Calcutta University Online PG Registration Process has started. Students admitted to the PG courses must upload the relevant documents from Nov 6 to Dec 31, 2024. Further, Migrating Students must submit a hardcopy of the Students’ Registration Form at the Registrar’s Office from Nov 11 along with other required documents.

- Applications are invited for admission to LLM/MSc/MA in Human Rights (Self-Financing Course). Aspirants can submit the online application forms through the university’s website (caluniv.ac.in) from Oct 25 to Nov 8, 2024. Entrance Test for the course is scheduled on Dec 1, 2024.
About City College of Commerce and Business Administration
City College of Commerce and Business Administration, shortly referred to as CCCBA, was established as a college in 1881 in Kolkata, West Bengal. CCCBA currently offers only the Bachelor of Commerce course (general and honors). B.A. classes were introduced in 1884; a Law Department came up in 1885, and M.A. classes were introduced and conducted until the new regulations of Calcutta University terminated them. Admissions to both courses are on the basis of merit in the 12th standard examination. There is no entrance examination required.

City College Kolkata Admissions
Admissions to both the courses offered by the college are on the basis of merit achieved in the qualifying examination. There is no entrance examination required. The steps to apply are mentioned below:
- Visit the college website and click on the Admission link.
- Fill the application form and get the application form number.
- Click on “Online Payment”.
- Fill the SBI payment form and make the payment of INR 100. This can be done online or through bank challan.

City College Kolkata Placements
The college conducts career counseling sessions and often hosts corporate companies participating in the recruitment drives. Among many other companies, IBM and TCS are at the forefront of the selection and recruitment process. The College also conducts many seminars and workshops based on Career Counselling and Employability.
In the academic year 2017, a total of 14 students were recruited by IBM. In another recruitment drive the same year, 15 other students were recruited by Concentrix.
City College Facilities
Some of the facilities provided by the college include:
- Library: The library contains 32,230 references and textbooks. It also subscribes to ten (10) newspapers (on a daily basis), seven (7) journals, and ten (10) magazines. It is also a member of the N-List program of the Inflibnet. It is not yet fully automated, but the process is ongoing.
- Canteen: The canteen, which is exclusively meant for students, provides food at a student-friendly rate. There are also Aquaguard water-filters installed in the canteen and elsewhere in the college.
- Health: There is a center for primary healthcare in the campus under the head ‘St. John’s Ambulance’, which renders services like health check-up as well as community work. This involves students and teachers alike.
- Other facilities include Computer facilities, Biometry, and Fax service, Fully equipped ICT-enabled room, Virtual classroom, and basic amenities like a power generator, water reservoirs, water coolers, and fire extinguishers.

- They do not borther for attendance is the first thing I like about my college and the reason to take admission into it.
- Secondly, some of our teachers are so friendly, cooperative and understanding.

- There is no college campus. College campus is so small we can't even play cricket.
- They may took you to any political rally without asking you.
Admission:
As a CA student i want a college where attendance doesn't matter for us, and this college is perfect for it. They doesn't ask for attendance and we only visit college when we need to appear at our college exams. Before taking admission in CCCBA i applied for Umesh chandra university which is the same college but it runs in morning and our college runs in the evening in the same building and same college. Yes, i got rejected in umesh chandra university because of my class 12th percentage. Admission process of our college is simple you can apply from our college website and and after some time they'll release merit list and if your name is in merit list it means you got selected and you can pay the college fees and that's it. There is no such eligibility criteria for admission. There is no cut-off.

- Academics mostly were good , faculties were friendly and very supportive . College timings mostly were good and favourable
- As it was evening college it was easy for us to study during the day and attend classes during evenings in this way we mabaged to do our daily studies as well

- The college could have given some mesmerizing fests to attend for their students to have a good stress relief from studies .
Admission:
I gave my class 12 and got 85% so it was quite easy for me to grasp the college as the seats are limited but I think they have quotas aswell . Getting roughly around 70% can make you enroll in the college itself.

- Well i am quite happy with the rankings of this college and that is the main reason behind joining. This college offers B.com honous + general. And must say the faculties are excellent thier teaching style is owsm
- Infrastructure of this college is decent. A small basket ball court is also present inside the college. Food rate of the canteen is cheep. Small gaming hall is also there for students.
Dislikes
- Their is nothing about dislike just the college need to improve their classroom environment and try to enhance the look little bit

Eligibility is above 70% but if you are from reservation category then its above 65% the whole addmision process is online student dont need to go to college and its very simple to apply from the college own website

The admission process is mainly done through campusing based on the form fillup and the marks that you score in your 10+2. they will call you for counseling and will ask you for your documents to be verified by the authority. Once the documents are verified they will give you admission slip.

As i took admission during the covid quarantine phase so the total admission process took place online. They provided provisional admission first after the payment of total 1st year fees. One can find application form in the official college website. All details can also be availed at the office. The college publishes many lists according to the reservation benefits.

12th pass needed and minimum 60+ percentage required. you can get it online form from the college website. Reservation is there. I think the admission process is easy at cu University and they can start the admission process earlier after the result is out.
