City College of Commerce and Business Administration was founded in the year 1940 and is affiliated with the University of Calcutta in 1961.

City College offers B.Com (Hons and General) course of 3-years duration with the intake of 900 and 150 seats respectively in each.

Candidates shall apply online for admission to the course. The application form is made available on the college’s website. The payment of the application fee could be done in both online and offline mode.
For B.Com (Hons) program, those who have passed HSC in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in best four subjects (excluding EVS) and 45% in the concerned subject are considered eligible to get admission.
For B.Com (General), Applicants who have completed 10+2 in any discipline from a recognized Board are eligible to apply.
Admission to both programs is given on the basis of the candidate’s merit in the qualifying examination.

City College of Commerce and Business Administration B.Com Admission 2024

City College of Commerce and Business Administration runs B.Com Hons. and General course of 3-years duration with the intake of 900 and 150 seats respectively in each. The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to B.Com Hons. course is candidates must have passed HSC with minimum 50% marks (minimum 40% marks for SC/ST candidates) in best four subjects excluding Environmental Studies and 45% (minimum 40% marks for SC/ST candidates) in the concerned subject OR 55% in the relevant subject for the General, OBC-A&B category candidates. For B.Com General, those who have passed HSC in relevant discipline are eligible to apply. Admission to B.Com (General and Hons) course is merit based.

I actually appiled for Bhawnipore Educational Society College and Jaipuria College other than this college and i got selected in Bhawnipore college. I choosed this college as the fees are very low compared to other colleges and the distance of the college from my home is short. In Jaipuria I couldn't make it for high cut offs and this is the only reason. First we need to do the form fill up and we went to the college and waited for 5 hrs for verification of the marksheets then we filled the form of student union and thats all for the admission process.

Unboxing CCCBA

Admission:

As a CA student i want a college where attendance doesn't matter for us, and this college is perfect for it. They doesn't ask for attendance and we only visit college when we need to appear at our college exams. Before taking admission in CCCBA i applied for Umesh chandra university which is the same college but it runs in morning and our college runs in the evening in the same building and same college. Yes, i got rejected in umesh chandra university because of my class 12th percentage. Admission process of our college is simple you can apply from our college website and and after some time they'll release merit list and if your name is in merit list it means you got selected and you can pay the college fees and that's it. There is no such eligibility criteria for admission. There is no cut-off.

Admission:

I gave my class 12 and got 85% so it was quite easy for me to grasp the college as the seats are limited but I think they have quotas aswell . Getting roughly around 70% can make you enroll in the college itself.

As i took admission during the covid quarantine phase so the total admission process took place online. They provided provisional admission first after the payment of total 1st year fees. Admission:

12th pass needed and minimum 60+ percentage required. you can get it online form from the college website. Reservation is there. I think the admission process is easy at cu University and they can start the admission process earlier after the result is out.
