Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 4 years Full-time Bachelor of Engineering [BE] Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement
The candidates shall have passed the 2nd year Pre University or 12th standard or equivalent examination held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects - Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics. The Candidate should have secured not less than 45% of aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the languages for admissions to engineering.
Note -
For engineering admission in Bangalore engineering admission in Bangalore through management quota in BMSIT & M, the minimum percentage of marks expected is 60% as per the current norms of the management.

- BMSIT has strong academic programs, curriculum is well structured and up to date with industry standards , providing robust foundation in various fields of engineering and tech.
- Professors are knowledgeable and supportive making learning a joyous and engaging experience
Dislikes
- Parking on campus can be hassle due to limited space at times.
- While the cafeteria offers a variety of options , the quality of food and taste can be inconsistent.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tuition fee increase is optimable and affordable . Rougly it costs around 2.42 Lakh per year excluding the hostel fees with a little hike per annum. Intership is provided by the college in 3rd years , with both paid and unpaid inculded.
Likes
- I really liked the vibe that the college provides. Faculty are pretty decent in terms of teaching. There's more exposure to industrial skills here
- There's BICEP which makes us become entrepreneurs.
Dislikes
- There's a lot of assignments and projects that's you have to do once you join this college
- It's a little far from the centre of the city but there are plenty of buses from the city.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The Annual fee is 100000. The Tution fee for kcet remains the same for every year. Currently Management quota fee is four and a half lakh per annum in my branch. Well, there are several stipends given to students if they work in BICEP.

- The environment of the college is very awesome.
- The faculty of the college is good and supportive
Dislikes
- The course imcluded in the 1 year course
- Some of the subjects have no need of but then also we are been taught those
Fees and Financial Aid:
Fees are moderate for the students who has taken the admission via any types of entrance but it is too high for the students who have taken admission without any such types of entrances. The fees Or donation fees should be somewhat reduced so that many students who are well in studies or any types of skills who have not taken up any entrance could take admission. There are some scholarships. Campus employment is well.

- Campus is full of environmental greenery, You will feel exceptional while entering the college.
- Faculties are also good, Specially CSE related faculties are good and they are supportive.
Dislikes
- College campus is not so big, only 25 acre area. these 25 acre also include hostel, so ultimately you will get small campus.
- College hostel has very limited seats. You have to move outside for living, may be for pg or flat.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure is different for students. Here comes the weird factor of college. Fee for the students outside Karnataka is on higher side which is approx 2.7 lac while fee for students belonging karnataka is about 90k, while fee for Karnataka students who belong to SC-ST is very less. There is no scholorship for students outside Karnataka while there are many scholorship oppurtunities for students belonging to karnataka.

- College provides great internship oppurtunities and placements.They have a great alumni base and the placement coordinators have good connections with companies.They conduct special traing sessions for placements to make the students well prepared.
- The campus of college is really good.It's full of greenery with many good spots to chill out in the campus.kapee kuteera is the best place to chill out in the campus.there is also an indian bank branch in the college for the ease of students
Dislikes
- college have a very strict attendance criteria of 85 percentage which is too much annoying.college faculties are not that much focused towards your placement.college do not conduct very good or big kind of fests so it may disappoint you
- college has a small playground which might disappoint you.library timings are kind of too much constrained.you cannot roam in the campus at night and canteens are also not open in night

The two lakh through comedk and scholarship for kcet students upto fifty thousand. for comedk students, there is no scholarship. scholarship is provided only for Karnataka students. so the complete cost will come around twenty lakhs.

- I like how the professors at BMSIT are really good at teaching.They know thier stuff and make interesting.They are open for doubts all the time. They are also friendly and easy to talk to. They are highly qualified.
- BMSIT offers exciting oppurtunities like hackathons and internship. Every month college do 2-3 college level hackathons. The internship stats are really good. Out of 780 students around 650 got internship.
Dislikes
- We do not have good infrastructure for sports. The college ground is short and is not maintained. The college gym is overcrowded and does not have good equipments and is not maintained well.
Fees and Financial Aid:
Tuition fees depends upon admission quota.In KCET, The tuition fee is around 1.74 LPA and in comedk the fees is around 2.77 LPA. Each year tuition fee increases by 20k.The university fees for 1st year is around 12k additionally .

- The college has a campus size of 25 acres which is inclusive of the architecture college BMSCA ( BMS college of architecture). the engineering college BMSIT has an area lesser thsn 25 acres. The campus is lush green with lots of trees and greenery...
- The campus offers a good and fresh environment for students that has the capability of refreshing minds.
Dislikes
- The college although has an increasingly good placement record but has to go a long way to attract talented students to study here.
- The sports facilities of the college are just bad. The ground is very small and not maintained well.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee structure of the students getting admission through COMED K quota is INR 264000 for each year as tution fees. Scholarships are available for students from financially weaker sections. campus employment opportunities are close to none.

the HODs are really strict but the faculty members are friendly. you can get placed surely and the heighest one provided from our branch was 14lpa and the least was 2.4lpa. we had 150+ student placed in ise department.

- Campus is actually a good looking one. the surroundings are good
- Infrastructure is actually calm and nice. very much recommended for students
Dislikes
- Competition is very high between the students
- There are heavy work load that is given to the students

The students had to pay 1.25 Lakhs to 1.5 Lakhs if they were from Delhi, but other students were supposed to pay 2.25 Lakhs to 2.5 Lakhs Indian Rupees Per annum. As I was an SC student I got schemes from the government.

- This year ISE banged more placement than any other branches.
- Enterprise support by BICEP and other clubs,teachers are high.
Dislikes
- Campus is very small, compare to strength of students.
- No good cafeteria is available in campus which they keep on changing.

I would like to say there is no hike it is fixed during the admission only and most exam fee is collected yearly. 3.5 lakhs is enough for your four years term as the cost of study. Scholarships are provided but only too few and if you are not able to afford the fee by checking your eligibility. No campus jobs or stipend is available.
