Value for money with decent faculty, placements a d campus life.

Likes

One thing I like is the campus is full of greenery scenes. It has lots of different types of trees.
Secondly I love the hostel. The college hostel is very nice . It provides very good food and rooms.
Thirdly I will say , the teachers are so nice in my college . They help me in my studies and projects.

Dislikes

The most disliking thing is hostel fees . They have charges about 1.5 lakh per year .
Secondly, they don't give so much holidays on the vacations after the semester send.
Also , they won't provide you very good placement u will expect.

Admission:

I chose BMSIT mainly because of its good reputation for placements, approachable faculty, and better campus environment compared to some of the other options I had. I had also applied to colleges like RV, PES, and MSRIT, but couldn’t make it there because of the higher cutoffs. I did get admission offers from mid-tier colleges, but I preferred BMSIT as it struck a balance between academics, affordability, and placement opportunities. The admission process was smooth. For B.Tech/BE, BMSIT accepts students through KCET, COMEDK, and management quota. The most common route is KCET for Karnataka students and COMEDK for others. The cutoff for CSE here through KCET is usually around the 6k–8k rank range, while through COMEDK it’s a bit more flexible. I got admission through [mention your entry, e.g., COMEDK/KCET/PMSSS], and the counseling process was straightforward.

My Two Cents on Life at BMSIT

Likes

Course is affordable compare to any other colleges.
Support from the teachers/faculty towards the students is good.
No descrimination from any faculty irrespective of marks or any other things.

Dislikes

Placement is not that great, Less core companies and mostly Service based that too very small
College is always constructing and they keep changing places.
Inhouse records and assignment books are costly.

Admission:

BMSIT is my first college that I applied because 1. I heard it was a good college through the peers who studied earlier. 2. It had a good review online 3. It was near to my house, so transportation was easy. 4. It was away from the city and it was surrounded by lush greens. It was peaceful. 5. It was affordable.

placement is better in college as it comes under top 5 comedk collegs.
it is in pollution free area and campus is very much greeen.
quality of food is appreciatable and very decent there.

Dislikes

south people are very poor here as they only speaks there language.
there is a students from management quote also here in our college.
it is very far from railway stations as well as airports.

Admission:

I wanted to take admission in the top ten comedk colleges but luckly I got this bmsit which comes under top-5. I have applied for various colleges such as kalinga ,vit vellore,SRM,and many more colleges. I choose this college over other because of its location and bengluru is the IT hub of India. Admission process in my college is based on comedk,kcet and management quote. Total marks for the comedk exam is 180 marks and around 70-80 you can get top ten comedk colleges good branches.

Only fees games are available in this and ground is limited
Facing language barriers sometimes as a non Karnataka person

Admission:

I applied for other colleges like Sir MVIT Neeta Meenakshi College of engineering and CMRIT choose BMSIT over all these because firstly, the BMSIT curriculum is very friendly and the placement statistics is highest compared to these colleges, which I was getting and BMSIT is one of the top 10 colleges in Bangalore I didn't get rejected from any college. I was getting computer science in CMRIT through KCET in Neeta Meenakshi through KCET and computer science with data science in Sir MVIT through KCET, I choose AIML over all this in BMSIT because as the course was fascinating, and it is very useful in the modern days because AI is developing learning how to develop artificial how to AI is using artificial reliance and machine learning will give a greater aspect

The environment around the college which is filled with greenery and cool breeze.
The silent sorroundings due to the location of college on the outskirts of Bangalore
Good and really supportive faculty and strict exam conduction...

Admission:

I applied to many others college and as I was a KCET applicant most of the admission process was conducted in KEA itself and the only documents submission and all were held in college so it was not that tough . I had got many college but BMSIT was much better than those so I choose it. And there was no rejection from any colleges this was my own choice of college. Eligibility to join this college mainly depends on your ranking that you get in kcet or comedk.

Best college amoung the all the private colleges

The Placement of the collage is quite good than the other private collages
The coding environment in the bmsit collage is also great
The faculty for the bmsit collage it is also good

Dislikes

The size of the campus is not big , but good part is the geenry
2024 around 1,200 student is intake taken by the the collage and this is the biggest disadvantage for the placement because of students placement competition increased
I don't like partition between north student and south students

I applied the collage in banglore like bms,Rv college,Bmsit, Dayanandasagar they all are good collages in the banglore I choose this collage because I don't have any other option than that I got 6700 rank in the comedk basically I m from pune, maharashtra so I thought bmsit is the good collage in the banglore so I decide to take this collage than other,and also it is good collage Yes, I got rejected by all other collages because for rv collage cs needs 300 rank in comedk but I only got around 6700 rank I got this collage in second round of the comedk counselling In 2024 rank needed to take this collage is 9000 rank for CSE student and for AI ML it is 13k ,this is the first year that cutoff of the collage is increased because of increase in seats in the collage in 2024 around 1200 seat is only for the CSE Students

Collage campus has vast area about 25 acres that includes Cricket ground, Basket ball ground, Volleyball ground etc... which serves as encouragement factor for students to participate in sports
One of the best thing about our collage is environment , They have maintained the nature inside the college very well.
In aspect of Transportation : The collage is 100m walkable distance from bus stop and Buses are available from all around the city

Dislikes

One of the most disliked thing for me was canteen because the rates were high but the quantity was poor
While I was studying construction of new block was going on which was noisy and many obstacles in ground due to construction
Apart from this two i don't think there were any dislikes for me

Admission:

During counseling of my collages I opted for MSRIT and BMSIT. In 2nd round of CET allotment I got BMSIT and I finalized it. I opted this college because of transportation and i also had heard good things about this collage. Since I am from a village called neralaghatta this collage is at a optimum distance to travel and there is buses available throughout the day ( Doddaballapur - Yelanka ) My friends brother is aslo alumini of the same collage and suggested us this collage

lush green campus with ample amount of fresh air
cafeteria , bakery and food court serves affordable and quality food
generous and really helping staff around college

Dislikes

the parking space is really small , difficult to get a spot sometimes
limited clubs and only a few active clubs
if you get into beef with some faculties , they can even screw your placment

Admission:

this college has a really good placement and is helps to prepare for study abroad exams. it has better placement than many reputated colleges in Karnataka. i applied in Benagluru Institute of Technology and Nitte Meenakshi also but this college has better curriculam , environment , good will and of course placement. i didnt get any rejection from any college. i had option all colleges as my rank was good. admission is through KCET , COMED-K , Management and NRI quota. cutoffs vary from quota and branch

BMSIT: A bland of academics and vibrant campus

I liked Amphitheater. It was an open area where extra-curricular activities would be usually conducted. That was the place where many inaugral funtions took place. Since it was an open area one would not feel suffocated.
I like the food in the food court. Though i must say the food in the food court is a little expensive but the quality is the best. Its hygeinic and the taste is just really very good. Its woth the money.There is also a bakery next to the food court.
I like kuteera. It is basically like a smaller version of the food court where one would get snacks and beverages. And since its located right next to the playgroud its really helpful to grab a drink or two when one is thristy.

Dislikes

I disliked that the Amphitheatre had to be taken down to construct a building since the intake was increasing and there was a lack for classroms and labs.
i dislike the fact that some of the professors are very much knowledgeable in specific areas of study, but they are given some other stuff to teach. i feel thats really very unfair.
I dislike the huge intake that is being taken in. The college feels a little way too crowded and suffocated at times.

THE LIBRARY IS AMSSICE AND SPACIOUS. BEST FOR INTROVERTS.

THE COLLEGE HAS ALWAYS SOMETHING OR THE UNDER CONSTRUCTION.

I CHOSE BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT BECASUE THIS WAS AMONGST THE THREE OTHER COLLEGES I WANTED TO JOIN. ACCORDING TO MY RANKING KEA GAVE ME BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT. THE OTHER COLLEGES WERE RAMAIH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND NITTE MEENAKSHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. THESE THREE COLLEGES WERE IN MY TOP PRIORITY BECAUSE THESE WERE THE ONLY THREE COLLEGES WHICH WERE NEAR TO MY HOUSE DISTANCE WISE. I WANTED BMSCE AND RVCE TOO BUT THEY ARE VERY FAR AND I'LL BE REACHING HOME LATE. TALKING ABOUT THE ADMISION PROCES, IT WAS NOT MUCH OF A HASSLE, IT WAS A SMOOTH PROCESS WITHOUT ANY DIFFICULTY.
