BMSIT MBA : Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

BMS Institute of Technology and Management (BMSIT) in Yelahanka, Bangalore, offers a two-year, full-time MBA with 120 seats. The MBA started in 2022 and follows the institute's own autonomous syllabus under VTU. The institute holds NAAC grade A and is ranked 201 to 300 in NIRF engineering for 2025. A management seat costs INR 5.50 Lakhs in tuition for two years, or INR 8.72 Lakhs with a hostel room. You get a seat through Karnataka PGCET and KEA counselling, or with a KMAT score for a management seat. The GM seat closed at PGCET rank 1,617 in round 3 of 2025. The MBA Class of 2025 placed 79% of its batch, and the 2025 average pay across all courses was INR 8.07 LPA.

BMSIT MBA Fees

The total fees with hostel is INR 8.72 Lakhs while the fees without hostel is INR 5.50 Lakhs. The tuition fees is INR 5.50 Lakhs for a management seat. You pay INR 2.75 Lakhs each year, in two parts over the course. The BMS Educational Trust fixes this management fee. A KEA seat through PGCET pays the lower fee the state fixes. The hostel room costs INR 1.61 Lakhs a year and mess is paid on top.

BMSIT MBA Admission Dates

The PGCET result came out on 19 Aug 2026, and the claim slip must be downloaded by 15 Sep 2026. KEA counselling is expected in Oct 2026 and classes in Dec 2026. KEA decides the round dates, so watch its site for the option entry window.

BMSIT MBA Eligibility

You need a three-year bachelor's degree with 50% marks, or 45% for SC, ST and Category 1. You also need a Karnataka PGCET rank for a KEA seat, or a KMAT score for a management seat. If your marks are below this, you cannot apply.

BMSIT MBA Admission Process

The steps are the PGCET exam, KEA counselling, the fee and reporting. KEA allots the seat on your rank, category and options. You pay the fee in KEA's window and report to the college with your papers. If you miss the fee date, you lose the seat.

BMSIT MBA Cutoff

The GM seat closed at PGCET rank 1,617 and the 3BG seat at 2,009 in round 3 of 2025. GM means General Merit, and a G at the end means a seat open to all of Karnataka. The GM close moved from 1,263 in 2024 to 1,617 in 2025, so it got easier.

BMSIT MBA Placements

The MBA Class of 2025 placed 79% of its batch, with 70 students placed. The 2025 average pay across all courses was INR 8.07 LPA and the median was INR 6 LPA. ClearTax, Vialto Partners, ABB and KPMG hired the most MBA students in 2025. The college does not publish pay for the MBA alone.

BMSIT MBA Scholarships

Two state schemes give INR 14,000 to INR 30,000 over the course. Vidyasiri gives the most, at INR 15,000 a year. SC and ST students with family income below INR 2.5 Lakhs get the post-matric money. You apply every year on SSP, the state scholarship portal.

BMSIT MBA Ranking

BMSIT is ranked 201 to 300 in NIRF engineering for 2025 and holds NAAC grade A with a score of 3.21. NIRF ranks the whole institute, not the MBA alone. The autonomous status lets the college set its own exams until 2030.

BMSIT MBA Course Structure

The MBA has four semesters over two years and four specialisations: Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and Business Analytics. You pick your specialisation inside the course. The college sets the syllabus through its own Board of Studies.

BMSIT MBA Hostel and Campus

A normal hostel room costs INR 1.61 Lakhs a year and a room with an attached bathroom costs INR 1.91 Lakhs. The hostel has 502 places for boys and 120 for girls. Mess is paid separately, so ask the hostel office if a room is free before you pay.
