Likes

I like the environment that lushgreen campus creates like a freemind one
The study area is very useful beside the stationary

Dislikes

The college timing clash could be better
The class infra needs repair and improvement

Placement Experience:

Placements even for ECE is 9lpa . Placements cell is great and the companies that walked in for ECE last year included new startups and also the old giants like NVIDIA and AMD INTEL etc which give massive dream offers

Why you choice could be bmsit ?

Likes

The college campus is vast and full of trees which give you calmness. The college has sports activities fest every year which is very good and invites guests like celebs singers ...etc.,
The library is good and contains the books which is related to competative exams, sem exams and staff are friendly. The canteen is also good and clean.

Dislikes

As the college is good and teachers are good but as you say not all teachers are good some may give you hell.
The canteen is good and food also good but number of time the staff is changed within the time i finished the is more number of time than my friends backlogs .

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem you are eligible to apply for palcements... Some of the companies visited is accorian, Henkel, galax e solutions , rinex, Infosys, Microsoft, junglee games, sap labs, simens, etc... The highest package is about 24 lpa in Microsoft If you do not get placed in college teachers support students and connect them with the industry experts outside.

Good college for your placements and enjoy engineering

I liked the infrastructure and the department teachings
Placement opportunities provided by the college

Dislikes

Politics during placements season.And less companies
No support for alumini after college.Department people won't support after you graduate

Placement Experience:

Placements usually start after 6th semester.Many companies like TCS,ANZ, IBM etc have visited the college they come every year and take some amount of students.In this year I studied around 70% of people had job offers with them.The highest package is from Amazon with a whoop package of 26lpa.My main plan was to secure a job in the IT field after my graduation.The average package is of 4lpa.

I like the college timings it's 9:30 to 1:10 so

Dislikes

If we don't have the required percent of attendence we habe to bring our parents

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams are difficult and it's too tough and only some students will clear all subject all others will get backlogs and if we study clearly before the exam by preparing for the old question paper we can pass

Why not BMS College for women?

Likes

The quality of education is the sole reason, I chose this college and it did not disappoint me in academic field
Sports in this college is particularly encouraged and supported for the female students of our college in both state and national levels.

Dislikes

There were no educational trips or recreational tours for students that are affordable for all the students and they do take for the trip only in the final year.
Infrastructure is decent according to college fees though it could be improved

Placement Experience:

In the final year from 5th semester the students are trained and made ready for the placements as small fiems and companies start comong to the colleges. During the final semester some of the top co.panies like EY, Capgemini, Intellipaat, Shankara cancer hospital and others appeared for the placements. The avearge package was upto 3,00,000. Almost 60 to 70% students got placed where the reamining students opted for higher eduacayion or preferred off campus opportunities.

Campus is greener with good infrastructure
Placement in 2024 was guite impressive and in increasing every year

Dislikes

Campus is far from city as it is located at outskirts of bangalore
Less hangout place as it's far from City

Bmsit College provide no of internship and placement offer from second year itself many students are already working as an intern in well known companies in their 2 nd year previous year placement percentage was around 78 percentage Wipro ,TCS ,Amazon, Walmart are some of the recruiter in bmsit

My dream college

Likes

The teaching faculty and hod of the department are really supportive and they aim to provide good knowledge to the students.
The infrastructure of the college and the green environment is really good.

Dislikes

The attendance system is very strictly taken into consideration
More emphasis should be laid on placements and upbringing new skills

The college has to lay emphasis on placements reakated subjects than following the same old curriculum the requirements have to be changed and they should teach the basics for better understanding of the students in depth of the subject

Likes

Proper management of distribution of students.
Campus life is not that much good due to some reasons

Dislikes

Lesser number of hostel inside campus . Most of students have to live outside
Since I am day scholar so campus life is worst

Placement Experience:

Placement of your college is very good in comparison with any private engineering colleges in north. Last year placement was 95% and average package was 10lakhs but this year due to recession it was around 85% .

I liked the teaching methodology. Very engaging and some teachers help students easil
Placement cell. Good opportunities are provided

Dislikes

The receptionist. Shes extremely rude and thinks she owns the college. If one requires respect, the other is supposed to earn it and give it back
Some teachers favour students and gives more internal marks

Placement Experience:

From the 1st year itself placement cell can be used for law firms or non profit organisations etc Sometimes the salary is not mentioned It includes Internship and jobs The reputation of firms is not very high My plans are probably to go for litigation ir corporate law
