lush green campus with ample amount of fresh air
cafeteria , bakery and food court serves affordable and quality food
generous and really helping staff around college

Dislikes

the parking space is really small , difficult to get a spot sometimes
limited clubs and only a few active clubs
if you get into beef with some faculties , they can even screw your placment

Course Curriculum Overview

placements , and real world application . exams are based on real world application. 2 internal assesment with 1 improvment test (optional) 2 subject each day for internal test. moderate level difficulty.

microsoft 25000 pm stipend per month nokia 20000 stipend per month sequiod 40000 stipent per month projects varies from each and everyjob role but mainly 1st month is training and then smaller tasks are given .

Placement Experience

from 6th sem you are allowed to sit for placements. more than 50 companies visits every year. this year, as placements are still ongoing , 35+ copanies visited and 250+ offers are made highest package is 25LpA average is 600000 more than 90 percent students gets placed after degress i am looking forward for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

for comedk quota (2022-2026) (fixed for 4yrs) annual fess is 249000 in which 20000 is vtu fees 3360 is vtu exam fees one time placement training fees is taken in 2nd year of 3600 kcet fee (2022-2026) is 80000 which deceases by 20000 each year

Campus Life

annual cultural fest : utsaha vaibhava annual tech fest : tech transform annual hostel fest : kalarava all books are journals available in libraray , if not , they will make it available on request. sports like volleyball tables tennis , basketball ,softball and very good coach. music club rushang , drama club rangasthala , student run Rotaract club of bms yelahanka (RaCBMSY) , IEEE socities etc

Hostel Facilities

hostel are available in 2 sharing with attach washroom and three sharing ( common washrooms on each floor) basis. meals are good and nutritious. registration can be done after college admission. there are PGs available within 100 meters. also, boys hostel is inside campus and girls hostel is 5 km far in yelahanka new town 4th phase.

Hostel Fee: INR 145000 per year

Admission

this college has a really good placement and is helps to prepare for study abroad exams. it has better placement than many reputated colleges in Karnataka. i applied in Benagluru Institute of Technology and Nitte Meenakshi also but this college has better curriculam , environment , good will and of course placement. i didnt get any rejection from any college. i had option all colleges as my rank was good. admission is through KCET , COMED-K , Management and NRI quota. cutoffs vary from quota and branch

Faculty

faculty to student ratios is 1 to 15 . regular proctor session and monitoring over attendance and marks and overall growth and heath (physical and mental) of student. Daruka prasad sir , Jyoti sir and almost all ise faculties and very good in all aspects of a faculty. Rakesh sir , Narsimha sir are the worst , they treat student like trash. each sem has 2 IA and 2 Assigments each subject. Exams are easy to moderate

Night Life

college has gym but mostly no girls are there it has good cafeteria , foodcourt and a bakery. campus timing 6 am to 8 pm hostel timing boys : 6am to 10pm girls : 6am to 7pm (8pm on sundays). the locality is not that safe for girls to roan alone at night after 10 - 11pm. popular hangout spots are Phekan and Chai patti.

Is worth taking BMSIT

I applied for other colleges like Sir MVIT Neeta Meenakshi College of engineering and CMRIT choose BMSIT over all these because firstly, the BMSIT curriculum is very friendly and the placement statistics is highest compared to these colleges, which I was getting and BMSIT is one of the top 10 colleges in Bangalore I didn't get rejected from any college. Best college amoung the all the private colleges

I applied the collage in banglore like bms,Rv college,Bmsit, Dayanandasagar they all are good collages in the banglore I choose this collage because I don't have any other option than that I got 6700 rank in the comedk basically I m from pune, maharashtra so I thought bmsit is the good collage in the banglore so I decide to take this collage than other,and also it is good collage Yes, I got rejected by all other collages because for rv collage cs needs 300 rank in comedk but I only got around 6700 rank I got this collage in second round of the comedk counselling In 2024 rank needed to take this collage is 9000 rank for CSE student and for AI ML it is 13k ,this is the first year that cutoff of the collage is increased because of increase in seats in the collage in 2024 around 1200 seat is only for the CSE Students...Read More
