Likes

The Placement of the collage is quite good than the other private collages
The coding environment in the bmsit collage is also great
The faculty for the bmsit collage it is also good

Dislikes

The size of the campus is not big , but good part is the geenry
2024 around 1,200 student is intake taken by the the collage and this is the biggest disadvantage for the placement because of students placement competition increased
I don't like partition between north student and south students

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum at BMSIT is fairly comprehensive and regularly updated to align with the latest developments in technology and industry demands. They teaches python in the first semester after that they teaches C langauge And in second year they will start to teaching DSA and development The difficulty level of the exam is moderate if you attend the all the classes and the payment attention of the lecture then don't worry about your exam The collage infrastructure is good the facilities they provide is also good

Internships Opportunities

You can able to get intership opportunity after the second year Companies like amazon flipkart Dettol give the opportunity for the internship You need to know about the web development or app development for the internship opportunity

Placement Experience

From third year you are eligible for the placement and from second year you are eligible for the internship Facebook,amazon,Junglee rummy,IBM, etc are the companies that visited to the collage Highest package in this is 27 lakh by student name godhwa and the average package is the around 8,00,000rs 80 percent student are getting placed If I get good placement then I will go for it otherwise I will go other masters

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the comedk student is around 2,90,000rs per year And For kcet student it is 94,000rs per year And for the International student the fees is 12 lakh for hostel + collage (4 years),There also have other fees for VTU is 10 thousand.There is scholarship but it's only for the Karnataka Student it's not other the other state students.There is no sc st quota for other state student also

Campus Life

Ustava vaibhava in the April is the biggest fest of the collage Library is there so no need to buy new books you can go to library and study The club are there like E-Cell,eco club , os code ,dance club

Admission

I applied the collage in banglore like bms,Rv college,Bmsit, Dayanandasagar they all are good collages in the banglore I choose this collage because I don't have any other option than that I got 6700 rank in the comedk basically I m from pune, maharashtra so I thought bmsit is the good collage in the banglore so I decide to take this collage than other,and also it is good collage Yes, I got rejected by all other collages because for rv collage cs needs 300 rank in comedk but I only got around 6700 rank I got this collage in second round of the comedk counselling In 2024 rank needed to take this collage is 9000 rank for CSE student and for AI ML it is 13k ,this is the first year that cutoff of the collage is increased because of increase in seats in the collage in 2024 around 1200 seat is only for the CSE Students

Faculty

The ratio between teacher and the student is 1:18.I liked the Puneeth the he is our math teacher and I really like his teaching literally he is the good teacher amoung all the faculties The some faculties and don't like means my python teacher is not good she is teaching python on the projector and she didn't care about the student she just wants to complete her syllabus There are 3 exams per semester, first one is IA1 after two months then IA2 and the sem end exam The fail rate of the student is low

Interview Experience

There is no any interview for the addmission there is the only comedk exam for the other state students and kcet exam for the home state student You just have to pass the comedk or the kcet exam By youtube I prepared for the comedk

Night Life

There the gym in the collage there are good equipment for your workout So hostel fees is around 1,30,000 per year for three sharing room and the curfew timing for the hostel is 9 pm Kutera is the best hangout place in the collage and outside of the collage there is galleria hall so you can go there So there is no night life because of curfew timing but you can enjoy in the hostel

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

Placement Experience:

From the end of 6th semester students become eligible for campus placemets.Many companies visit the campus including Oracle, UI path, etc offering students interships and full time jobs.The highest package offered to the student is 50 lakh per annum from UI Path and the average package of CSE branch is around 10lakh. Nearly 93% of students are placed in various companies.My plans after graduation is to grab a good on campus placement and look forward to my other goals in my life.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.

I CHOSE BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT BECASUE THIS WAS AMONGST THE THREE OTHER COLLEGES I WANTED TO JOIN. ACCORDING TO MY RANKING KEA GAVE ME BMS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT.
