Likes

Library, wifi, friendly faculty, friendly seniors, sports facilities, food court is costly but the taste is just awesome.
Like faculties are good enough like ratio is very good.
Placements have been really amazing and then the average package is 6 lakhs and highest was 42 lakhs this year.

Dislikes

Boys hostel though is somewhat good , but the capacity is very less so most of the boys have to get in pgs which are very bad .
I don't like the food in our canteen which doesn't taste good.
It is somewhat in the middle , some teachers are really good while others will just waste your time in the class and feel very annoying as they dont proide any value to your life .

Bang on

Likes

The ambient which attracts the students to come to the college.
The classroom and seminar hall is more spacious
Auditorium and playground is also too big

Dislikes

The number of students in our college is very high.
The cultural event is very less compared to other colleges.
The transportation facilities is also bit less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

While coming to the cirrculum the way they instruct and address the students so that they should not make any mistakes. Coming to the exams before half an hour everyone should assemble in the exam hall. This can bring the students to give the booklet and fill the usn and subject and whatever they have given early. Sharply at two o clock they will distribute the question paper. Time management is very perfect

Life in BMSIT

Likes

The campus is an amazing place with full of greenery
It has parking space for both bikes and cars
Good sports facilities for volleyball,football,indoor badminton court

Dislikes

Far away from the city and is not easy traveling every day
Intake from this year is a lot and the college is crowded now
Infrastructure is good but not up to the mark,labs have to be changed

The campus is full of green it's solgun sayes bmsit greener then ur life
Good campus placement opportunities has its main campus it bmsce

Dislikes

The campus is too small only trees and buildings
The faculties are not to friendly to students they cut internal marks if you are noted to them

The placement is ok ok neither good nor bad the students are eligible for placement drive after successfully completing 5 ,6sem wher they give the placement training for students. The company like infosys tcs toyota honda cognizant bosch visit and take max number of students the highest package is of 30lpa and avg is 5 lpa

Likes

campus environment is good. and its nice for one sports curriculum.
teaching faculty is too good. they are all very intelligent.
there is campus selection for students. its good for ones develpoment.

Dislikes

no proper guidance for furute job opportunity.
very strict college, so some misunderstanding.
hostel food was not good. quality is poor.

Placement Experience:

in second year itself one can get placement. famous companies like infosys, amazom,flipkart, Amat, tcs. highest pakage is 30LPA and average is like-10LPA. 80% of students get placements. First I want to get good salary in placements, after that i want to build my own company.

Likes

The greenery and the environment of our college is really nice and calming. There are many events that usually happen during each semester which is really fun.
The teachers and staff members are very understanding and cooperative ,their teaching methods are simple yet effective
The girls to boys ratio is about 4:7. The crowd is fun to be around.

Dislikes

College timings is comparatively more than other colleges. It starts from 8:30 am and goes about till 4:30pm
The placements through college is not that great in the mechanical department in my opinion
The time taken for each lecture is about 1hr which can be reduced. The break timings can be improved

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's quite good but i would say the pace of each semester can be taken a little slower comparatively so that the students are more involved in the program and subjects. Exam timings are about 1.5 hours for internals and 3hours for sem end exam. It's not that difficult.

College Life

Likes

The campus is spread over 20 acres with lush green trees all around. The campus is well maintained by the staff.
Faculty all have at least a doctorate which means they are highly qualified to teach the students.
The boys to girls ratio in my class is 70:30

Dislikes

The car parking is not sufficient as many students bring their own vehicle.
Some buildings are constantly under construction causing disturbances to classes
Not enough sports activities are done by the college.

Placement Experience:

campus placements are eligible for students from sixth semester. Many companies come onto campus such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Unisys, Infosys, etc. The highest placed student last year from computer science earned a package of 30 LPA

Likes

Most faculties have phd's and are really good with what they do.
The college is very well reputed as it has a great ranking
The campus and the buildings throughout are well constructed and good.

Dislikes

The placements of the college are very average.
The fees through management for software related courses are high
The location of the college is far away from the city

For me as an mechanical engineer it is one of the best colleges amongst bangalore to do mechanical from bms. The college has great mechanical department and good placements from the core mechanical students.

BMSIT is a great choice! You won’t regret it!

Likes

Really like the faculty they truly care about the students and take keen interest in the student’s academics as well as extra curricular internships etc, they conduct placement training classes from the first year itself!!!
They conduct multiple events and hackathons and fest which truly is an overall experience for the students, there’s nothing they’re not doing to promote growth!
The classes are not too long and the timetable is made with such thoughtfulness and helps students get time and work on their skills!!!

Dislikes

Honestly nothing, everything here is great, maybe the crowd is kannadiga but it’s fine
yes campus is under construction but that’s a hair sized amount of inconvenience

Placement Experience:

Right from the 6th sem the students are eligible and encouraged to get internships or get placed, more than 198 companies come every year and more than 90% students get placed. The package ranges from 3.5 and goes upto 12+ lpa which is quite impressive. The average is definitely around 8-10lpa

NOPE IT DOESNT WORK LIKE THAT, YOUR PREPRATION MATTERS ALLOT ITS ALL A SHEER LUCK N HARD WORK
