The Academic and Practical Contribution of Dyal Singh College

Likes

The infrastructure of college is well managed with well equipped labs and all facilities . Hygiene in the college is there for students in the campus and also canteen . The food of canteen is affordable and very tasty.
The faculty members and teachers are very supportive and cooperative . The provides us with holistic knowledge and help us at each and every stage through out the course.

Dislikes

Overcrowded classrooms due to high intake of students in the courses.
Delayed in adminstrative processes as in official work .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum provides a theoretical foundation that could do more. The curriculum benefit from better practical training But the course did well in developing critical thinking,writiy skills and theoretical knowledge

Our principal is so helpful that he takes immediate actions for the students
Campus is so huge that u can not cover it in one go and the crowd is also good and helpful and dyal singh college is the most political active college in Delhi university

Dislikes

Because of a huge campus it is difficult for the college authorities to maintain the campus.
Being politically active outsiders visit are frequent which frequently disturbs students space in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Dyal singh college is a part of Delhi university and in Delhi university we can have the best exposure in studies as well as in extra activities as the diversity is so huge and this made me choose this university and my course. Teachers should not speed up the syllabus because this effects the students a lot. Our exams are of 1 hour 30 min.

Canteen : It gives good food at a reasonable price .
Location: the university is located at the most Porache area of Delhi

Dislikes

The infrastructure is not good inside the college , the benches and not good .
Poltics is rampant in the college so beware and try to avoid it as much as possible.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good for those people who are interested in general science and their affection in general science is chemistry. You will get a lot of practical classes of physics and chemistry and you will study all the three subjects ( physics, chemistry, maths ). Although I don't know much about the relevance but it this course will give you more options when you want to choose from which field you want to do your masters .

Cancellation of classes by several teachers

I choosed this course to get acheive my dream of being a lecturer for Physics. The faculty have a very good experience and the way they behave with the students is delight and helpful . The labs are divided into groups for students and the ratio is 30:1 . The teachers are very well qualified and they have a very good teaching method and the term exams are ongoing .

The well behaved nature of seniors . The way they help us is too good

Happy Soul In DSC

The environment of the college... The well equippied labs.. Grounds.. And the facilities that make it perfect in a sense
All the sports items are present in the sports room just done up with the process the of issuing it and have fun... The auditoriums and amphitheatre are the best places to spend your time.. Canteens are the places full with students every time

Disturbance of classes during elections... But most of the students love it too
The fighting scenes of this college is of next level

I choosed this course because I want to pursue reasearch in the field of physics... Faculty student ratio is enough... The classes are divided into sections and then again the sections are divided into groups while the lab classes and the ration of faculty vs students during the lab classes is near about 20:1. The faculties are well qualified with PhD degress and they are research specialist in their own fields. The term exams are about to be held in last of Decmeber till mid January and the difficulty level is moderate

I want a Bsc prog. physical science with CS because I know C++ but because of high cut-offs I had to choose this course. The ratio of faculty: to students is 60:1. Almost every faculty is a Ph.D. holder so the faculty is highly qualified. The teaching method of every faculty is different in its way but teachers stay with students till the examination. Every semester's examination is conducted for students as the semester level increases the level of difficulty also increases but not so difficult to pass the exam.
