- The infrastructure of college is well managed with well equipped labs and all facilities . Hygiene in the college is there for students in the campus and also canteen . The food of canteen is affordable and very tasty.
- The faculty members and teachers are very supportive and cooperative . The provides us with holistic knowledge and help us at each and every stage through out the course.
- NCC wing is also there in the college for both boys and girls . College had various societies in which students can enroll as per there interest .
Dislikes
- Overcrowded classrooms due to high intake of students in the courses.

Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum provides a theoretical foundation that could do more. The curriculum benefit from better practical training But the course did well in developing critical thinking,writiy skills and theoretical knowledge

College has active Placement Cell that works to connect students with internship and job opportunities. There are various companies which came as Dololite , Bajaj Capitals , NDTV, Hindustan Times, Paytm , Zomato etc .
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees in this course was ?16550 pre year making ?49680 for 3 year course. This includes tution fees , admission fees and all other charges of college. All the students included in economically weaker section are eligible for scholarship and fee concession scholarship as per your eligibility and merit. Few scholarship are PMSSS J&K scholarship , Natonal scholarship, Inspire Programme etc.
Campus Life
The campus had variety of students . There are regular cultural festivals, events and celebrations as Diwali melas ,freshers party and farewell parties. The campus had various societies as Debating society , Rangayan of dramatic society Antardhwani cultural festival for music and dance club , photography , fine arts and flim clubs are also there . NCC and NSS are there for students . College Annual fest known as Spandan . Infrastructure is also well equipped with modern facilities as Wi- Fi . Library is there with latest stock . Science labs provides with modern equipments .
Admission
I got admission in 2019 in this college as per my marks in 12th but now as per DU norms the entrance test is conducted . I applied for north campus colleges also but didn't get admission becay i was not able to clear the cut off in those colleges . But I cleared the cut off various south campus colleges but got admission in Dyal Singh College because it offered a variety of courses and also the infrastructure was too good . Additionally the JLN metro station made the transportation easy. At that time the admission process was through your marks in 12th in three subjects i.e. maths , physics and chemistry collectively . There are various rounds of cut off and in each round cut off goes down till the seats are filled.
Faculty
College had experienced faculty members which provides supportive and cooperative environment to students. On an average the college had 1 faculty member per 30 - 40 students but it can vary as various departments. College follows semester system having two semesters per year . Internal assessment are also there which account for 25% of total marks and the end semester exams account for 75% marks . The college follows DU norms striy and grades are often standardized across different colleges in the university . Exams conducted are modrate focusing on conceptual understanding. 80-90% students pass in the exams .
