  • Candidates can't take Mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands, and cameras to their exam centres.

  • Candidates are not allowed to take personal items like Geometry/pencil boxes, pouches, calculators, rulers, log tables, wallets, caps, etc.
  • Accessories like Earrings, nose pins, rings, necklaces, bracelets, gold chains, hair clips, and belts.

Ans. NTA has not explicitly permitted analogue at NEET UG 2026 exam centres. Smart watches are strictly prohibited. For analogue watches, it is advised candidate should not carry it to avoid delay during frisking. The exam hall typically has a wall clock for time tracking.

Ques. Can I carry medicines to NEET 2026 exam centre?

Ans. Candidates with a medical necessity may carry prescribed medicines with a valid doctor's prescription and prior written permission from NTA. Such candidates should contact NTA at 011-40759000 or email neetug2026@nta.ac.in well in advance. On exam day, inform the centre superintendent and carry prescription documentation.

Ans. If a candidate accidentally carries a mobile phone to the NEET UG 2026 exam centre, they must hand it over to the centre's designated room before entering the exam hall. NTA advises candidates not to bring phones at all and leaving them at home is the safest option. Any phone found inside the exam hall during or after the exam leads to immediate disqualification.
