NTA will conduct the NEET Exam on May 05, 2024. NTA releases a comprehensive set of guidelines for the NEET Exam along with the Information Bulletin. The NEET Information Bulletin contains all the details regarding the NEET Dress Code, Exam Day Guidelines, Things to Carry for the NEET Exam and things prohibited on the NEET Exam day.

As per the guidelines released by NTA, there will be an “extensive and compulsory frisking” on the NEET 2024 exam day. You must keep a note of the detailed NEET Exam Day Guidelines to make sure that you carry all the right things and documents on the exam day.

What Documents To Carry on the NEET Exam Day?

You must compulsorily carry the following items on the NEET Exam day.

  • You must carry your NEET Admit Card (Hard Copy) along with a passport size photograph pasted on it.
  • You also need to carry one extra passport-size photograph for the NEET Attendance Sheet.
  • You should also have a Post Card Size (4”X6”) colored photograph with a white background on your Proforma that will be handed over to the invigilator at your exam centre.
  • Apart from the above, candidates must have a valid ID Proof and PwBD candidates must carry their certificates, if applicable.

Things To Carry on the NEET Exam Day

Apart from the ID and Photographs you can also carry the following items on the NEET Exam day

  • Personal transparent water bottle
  • Mask and Gloves
  • Personal small hand sanitizer (50 ml)

What Things Are Not Allowed on the NEET Exam Day?

You are not allowed to carry certain things to your NEET Exam Centre. A detailed list of all the prohibited things that cannot be carried at all on the NEET Exam Day is given below.

  • All Textual Material: Any printed or written material such as papers, books, notebooks, writing pads, bits of paper, notes, Writing Pad, etc is entirely prohibited and not allowed on the NEET Exam Day.
  • All Stationery Items: Items such as Geometry Box, Pencil Box, Pouch, Calculator, Extra Pens, Ruler, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Tables, etc can not be taken to the NEET Exam centre.
  • Electronic and Communication Devices: Devices like Mobile Phones, Bluetooth, Scanner, Electronic Pens, Headphones, Earphones, Microphones, Pagers, Smartwatches, Health Bands, etc must not be taken for the NEET Exam.
  • Ornaments and Other Prohibited Items: Wallets, Sunglasses, Bags, Handbags, Belts, Caps, Normal Watch/Wristwatch, Bracelets, Cameras, ornaments/metallic items, food and beverages, water bottles, etc are also prohibited.

Note: You will not be allowed to carry OR KEEP any of the prohibited items at your NEET Exam Center. In case of any objects of faith (customary/ cultural/ religious), you MUST report at least two hours in advance for a proper and thorough checking.

NEET 2024 Dress Code

You must adhere to the NEET 2024 Official Dress Code, which was released by NTA. You must keep in mind the following dress code which is mentioned below.

  • NO Heavy clothing and/or long sleeves are permitted.
  • Shoes are NOT ALLOWED. However, slippers and sandals with low heels are permitted.
  • Trousers, Slippers, Light clothes with half sleeves are allowed for male candidates.
  • Salwar, Trousers, Slippers, and Sandals with low heels are allowed for female candidates

Note: For candidates with cultural/ customary dress, you must report to the center at least an hour before the last reporting time (12.30 PM) for proper checking.
