Measures to be taken by students wearing Religious/ Customary Dress
For students wearing any customary clothing or religious dress, there are certain steps to be done to avoid confusion during the exam date and time.
- Religious or customary dress typically refers to burkhas, turbans, or any other religious or customary attire that an individual refrains to remove, in accordance with his/ her religion or customs.
- Students who will be following their customary or religious clothing should mention it, while they are filling the application form in the specific space allotted for it.
- The specificity of their religious attire or customary dress will henceforth be mentioned in the admit card as well.
- The respective students are also advised to be present in the exam centre befire an hour to make sure they go through proper checking and avoid last minute confusion.

Suggestions to avoid Dress-code related Confusions
There are certain suggestions that students should follow to avoid dress code related confusions.
- Make sure you remove all your ornaments like gold, silver, diamond, platinum, etc., so that you avoid metal detection tests as they are not permitted inside the centre.
- Wear simple light-coloured shirts/ T-shirts preferable in cotton to avoid heat irritation.
- Keep the bottoms also simple by wearing trackpants, trousers or pants with no pockets, or maybe one or two, but not more than that.
- You must ensure that both you top and bottom clothing has zero metal accessories or heavy buttons as it is not permitted
- Avoid wearing shoes or high booted sandals. Just wear normal flat sandals, slippers, or flip flops.
- Visit the exam centre at least an hour or a half before the exam, so that you can go through all the checking before and be in a peaceful mindset before giving the exam.
