IIITDM Jabalpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students from the third semester are eligible for placements for the master's course. The highest package was 10 lacs and the lowest was about 3.6 lacs. There were almost 10 companies including the core and the software companies. 40-50% of students are selected for placements.

Government College, Institute of National Importance, collegeduniaPlacement is present mostly for CS students. Not for core branch like ME, ECE.If interested in IT jobs it's is good otherwise most core students go for PSU OR further studies.

College is near my home town, addition of that required decipline offered by few college, this is one of them. Mentor is very supportive and very good chance to pursure post doc. Environment is reserch oriented and have required facility.

I heard a good reputation of the college as it was a central institution. also to get there admission you have to clear the entrance exam so all that factor encouraged me to preapare for the exam so that i can get the admission

A reputed government college supported by the MHRD with a good alumni base and great seniors. I used college duniya and various other websites to look at reviews about my college. I also looked at the college website to find the contact numbers of the seniors and office administration to get a better info.

Campus is very great with lush green environment, we do have computer center which is very nice place to study.Fee is low and is affordable.Placements are very good.Most importantly gentry is very good and supportive (especially seniors).Fests are held every year which are fun to attend.Also there are specific sports arena for each sport.

I want to do CAD-CAM and there are very selected college for that and i got it here according to my gate score. I don't have much experience as i joined during covid and it still online. I may not me the correct person to judge but the teaching is good.

The institute is one of the best IIIT's and is purely under MHRD and hence the fee is very less as compared to other IIIT's. It is located in a peaceful area far from the buzz of the city. The academics of the institute is very well with talented and experienced faculties from every branch. The only thing is that if you want their knowledge to be drained out from them then you need to be very punctual and dedicated so that they find the potential in you. The placements of the institute is average like very good for CSE and ECE but below average for ME as the lack of core companies coming for hiring , its the case of almost every institute of the country but the students who are interested in IT field can get easily placed. The institute has a very good partnership with the genesys group and some of the students get a chance to spend some time in Japan and understand their approach of education system. They work together with the japanese students on some research topics as well. This is a treat for the students. The infrastructure is good and pacing up very well.

IIIT usually focuses on studies related to computer science and as I was interested in CSE from a very young age I preferred them over NIT or IIT. Other than that I got seat in this specific college according to my rank there were only 2 options for me either B. Tech. From IIITDMJ or integrated M.Tech. from IIIT Gwalior but as I have future plans for M. Tech. From abroad I preferred IIITDMJ.
