JISCE - Alumni Perspective

Likes

Faculties are experienced, friendly and knowledgeable.
Green Campus and great infrastructure with variety of sports facilities.
Fests and extra curricular activities always promoted.

Dislikes

On campus wifi is a gimmick, Jio provides hotspot but the data is not free.
Administration of exams and other things are done in a very unprofessional manner.
Canteen and hostel food is not good at all.

Placement Experience:

Plenty of employment opportunities after course completion except during recession. College did provide various related placements such as TCS, EY, Deloitte, Accenture, HCL, etc. Few organisations were completely unrelated such as Marketing and Customer care.

Very satisfied with the infrastructure but disappointed with the placements.

Likes

There were enough computers for every student to work.
The labs, classrooms and library were well maintained.
The faculty was well educated and knowledgeable.

Dislikes

The placements were very poor and undeveloped.
The teaching methods of the professors were average.
The students are not made industry ready.

Placement Experience:

I was very dissatisfied and disappointed with the placements from this college. Placements are given in the last year only. I remember Amazon had visited but for process jobs only. The highest package that i know is 3LPA. Only 20 to 30 percentage students were placed that too only in BPO jobs. My plans is to crack a good off campus core job in a good company.

My College Experience

Likes

The Faculty Is Too Good And Very Friendly.
The Labs Are So Big And Every Student Have There Individual Computer.
The Classroom Is So Big and The Total College Has A Fast Wifi Connection In Every Part.

Dislikes

The Campus Are Too Short And The Classes Not Have A AC.
The Common Room Or The Game Room Is Too Short and Don't Have Too Many Games.
There Is No Club Rooms In The College And There Are Not So Many Clubs Only 2 Or 3 Clubs Exist And They Are Lacking Members And Activities Too.

Placement Experience:

After The 8 th Semister The Students Are Ready For Placement. There Are Many Companies Visit The For Like TCS , INFOSIS , WEPRO , AMAZON , IBM etc. The Avarage Package Is 5 lakh Per Year. And The Highest Pakage Around 15 Lakh Per Year. The Percentage Of The Student Getting Placed Is 70% My Plan After The Degree To Get Placed In A Well Known Company And Get Ready To Get A Better Job In Google , Apple , Microsoft , Facebook.

A review on my college NSHM kolkata

Likes

I liked the environment of our college nice
Very nice students very good facilities ok
Yeah library is very nice lab is AC and canteen is nice

Dislikes

that i dont like at all you have to come by changing autos
The campus size is too small it not like big park or garden type
Rule of attendance that is too harsh strictly you have to maintain 75%

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college is good lots of studnets gets placed you have to get some skills developed to grab the opportunity almost 60-70% of the students gets placed in tech campines like IBM tech mahindra tcs wipro . My plan is to persue MCA after bca to get better package and opportunities.. from 6th semester students are eligible to get placed in it firms-4 is minimum 9-10 lakh is highest package

The Heritage Academy - All you need to know

Likes

Very good faculty, they have very nice and engaging behaviour. Most of the faculty are very highly qualified
Lab equipments are very good and are adequate for any technical courses
Completely ragging free campus and students have a much more safer ecosystem here.

Dislikes

Very strict regarding thr attendance, should be some more reluctant.
Not focusing on co curricualar activities as much it should be
The college classes still don't have any Air conditioner

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college used to be brilliant but in recent time post corona after the mass layoffs somehow the placement is affected. The students are eligible for the campus placements from the 5th semester. Companies that visit include Deloitte, L&t, SAP, TCS, Wipro, cognizant etc. Each of these take at least 10 students There are on an average very high students placements and average package is somewhere around 3 lakh per annum.

College life at IEM college

Likes

Iem has one of the best placement cell in kolkata.
Faculties are well qualified and are always helpful towards there students.
Hygiene is maintained in the campus. All the rooms have Ac , fans and projecter

Dislikes

We have to wear college uniform which feels like we are still in school.
There is no group to play any outdoor sports except basketball.
Entrance time is fixed for all and if we take leave for even one day we have to submit a leave letter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen Bca as my undergraduate degree because I have a keen interest in development and how it works. I took commerce in my class 11&12 so I was not eligible for Btech so I choose Bca which provides same knowledge.

NSHM Knowledge Campus,Kolkata: A Dynamic Blend of Academics

Likes

Most of the things which I liked about my college from the past years expertise is that when ever we need any kind of help or for education purposes both the professor including seniors batch mates helps us to get rid out of it.
I like the well - equipped labs and engaging extracurricular activites. The faculty is supportive and the campus promotes skills development through hands on learning and internships.
The most important thing is the educaton which is 100 percent perfect and the teacher are also active with the student to achieve the desiger which we wanted.

Dislikes

The fee structure for some student find the fees on the higher side, especially for self - financed courses.
hostel facilties are limited and only available for girls with issues sometimes reported regarding management and quality
Placement Opportunites: while there are placements, some students feel the packages could be more competitve compared to other institutions offering similar programs.

Placement Experience:

At NSHM Knowledge Campus Kolkata, students generally become eligible for placements from the 5th or 6th semester, depending on the course. The institute placements from the 5th or 6th semester, depending on the course. The institute placements cell actively work to secure job opportunities, and companies such as amazon, tcs, capgemini, nestle, wipro etc visit the campus to recruit students.

Me and my College

Likes

The discipline is on point. The college starts sharp at 10am.
The faculty members and principal is very kind.
Placement and study structure is good as compared to any otherr

Dislikes

Each college should arrange functions and programs for students for entertainment purpose
Students are not so friendly with each other
College campus is way too small and conjusted

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of the placement and study structure I've known this far... Also my elder sister was a pass out student of this college... Hence my parents told me to go to this college. Only improvement required is that there should a minimum and proper gap between exams...so that students can prepare well.

It was a great experience to review about the college.

Likes

I liked the discipline of the college full raging free college.
Faculty are very cooperative and friendly.
Placements are better than other private colleges.

Dislikes

Campus area is very small and feels like no college life.
Rules and regulations are very strict and uniform is mandatory.
Hostel food is average but sometimes it get worst.

Placement Experience:

Placements for BCA department is good compared to any other college than IIT and JU because they are government and also IEM is known for it's better placements, various famous and renowned companies visit and recruit students from our college like TCS, wipro, cognizant, delottie and capegemini etc. Some companies offer good packages like SAP LABS recruit the highest number of student from a particular college that is IEM.
