- On campus wifi is a gimmick, Jio provides hotspot but the data is not free.
- Administration of exams and other things are done in a very unprofessional manner.
- Canteen and hostel food is not good at all.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is constantly updated to meet the future industrial and academic needs. Research is widely promoted along with entrepreneurship. One area in which improvement is needed is the choice of elective subjects.
Internships Opportunities
Camptratech and JIS Group offered internship opportunity to students. Unrelated opportunities like Sales and Marketing were also there. This is the one area where improvement is much needed. Some companies offered internship but they never reverted back.
Placement Experience
Plenty of employment opportunities after course completion except during recession. College did provide various related placements such as TCS, EY, Deloitte, Accenture, HCL, etc. Few organisations were completely unrelated such as Marketing and Customer care.
Fees and Financial Aid
State scholarships are available like SVMCM, OASIS and minority scholarship. The fee structure have been revised as the duration is increased by a year and also it is the normal practice to increase the fees every academic session. I've paid 235000 in total. Exam fee to the university of 1200 to be paid every semester. Uniform and transportation cost were included in the total fees. Hostel charges are extra applicable.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is great as mentioned before. One turn off thing is the HVAC system in labs, they never work properly. Various groups and clubs are available like, GDSC, photography, music, etc. These greatly impact the social life of student. Various sports facilities and game room is available along with a roof top cafe.
Admission
I chose because this is a renowned institution and near to the place I live. To get admitted into Bca, CET exam is the key to success. Admission process is smooth. I did get into other colleges but their fees were so much inflated.
Faculty
1:5 Faculty ratio is there. Everyone is very approachable and helpful. Availability is really appreciating. I liked Ritadrik, Kallol, Aniruddha, Shamayaita for their wisdom, experience and approachability. Hated Sumit for childish behaviour and unprofessionalism. There are 4CA exams every semester and an end sem.
