Reality of Jis college of engineering

The course I choose is Btech in CST(Computer Science and Technology). I opted for this course cause this is a total software based course and my aim is to become a developer so it was perfect for me to take this course.

There are many intership opportunities comes in college like the internship from AICTE, etc. The college also provides ideas to work on and apply it to a company. There are lot of internship offers comes. One can choose according to their skills they made.

The students get eligible at 3rd year 6th sem. Though before that you can do internship or freelancing which will increase the weight of your profile. The percentage of student getting placement is around 60-70% and the average package is around 4-5lakhs per annum. The highest package got by a student previous year was around ?10lakhs per annum.

The total course fees is ?600325 it was ?550000. It increased by ?50000 every year for newcomers after they study for 1 year. Per semester the fees structure will be around ?75000 at will decrease by ?500 per semester in round off.

The campus life is good especially for those who like to participate in events. There are many internal hackathons occurs in college and facilities help students to go hackathons outside college. There is a big event that happens in college that every students waits is Jis tech fest. The sports part is also good those who like to play sports they can get satisfied.

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good. So for all this reason I choose this college. I wanted to go for heritage but my name didn't came in cutoff. The admission process is very simple if u want to take admission just bring ur class 12 result and the result of entrance exam you gave. According to you marks they will give you course permission. If you don't get satisfied with course you can negotiate with the college.

The faculty is very good. They will treat you like a friend if u don't do any bad things and they will encourage u if u have any idea or project that not done yet in college. Some of the teachers are very strict for no reason like the assistant teacher in chemistry lab is very strict for only small minor mistake that can be considered that human beings does those things though trying to be perfect. There are total 3 exams and rest is class test sometimes. The 2 are internals and the 3rd is semester exam.

The night time for students is safe around the college. Nothing has yet happend outside college in night. There are cafes outside college, so if someone goes out at night for some snacks it's perfect.
