The companies are TCS, Amazon, Tata, Flipkart. The roles are managers, staff, employees are offered under internships with stipend. Innovative projects normal projects and so many outcomes to clarify the tasks

Placement Experience

5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Tata, Amazon and other big companies are visited and 100 no of offers made Highest package - 70000 and lowest package - 30000 70% of students getting placements

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is 10000. Tuition fees 12000, registration fees 6000, admission fees 745000, no lab fees available and no other compulsory charges during the course completion as per the category. So that's why I choose this college. Also, my batchmates fees is high because they are not admission by any entrance exam. So their fees is highly more than me.

Campus Life

The name of the annual festival is Majistic and technical festival is JIS Tech. The facilities and technological provisions within the classroom is so good Overview of sports and extracurricular activities are so good

Hostel Facilities

One bed one fan one table and one chair provided in the room. Meal quality is so bad and menu also so bad. A-5 , kalyani, Nadia, West Bengal is the location for rented a room or PG. Registration process is good for hostel and affordability is so bad

Admission

Techno India, HIT and other colleges me apply to amd JIS College Of Engineering got a confirmed me admission from. Because this college is best than other colleges. No, I get a no rejection from other colleges me applied to.

Faculty

The faculty to students relationship is so good and faculties are so approachable. The name of the faculties is Dr. Nabanita Sarkar. Math faculties behaviour is so bad. 8th exams are here like 4th internal in every semester.

Interview Experience

1st sem, 2nd sem, 3rd sem, 4th sem, 5th semester and 6th sem syllabus for GD. Test pattern and interview questions are so hard and so tricky. I prepared perfectly for admission exam and I qualified so easily

Night Life

Sarajini Girl's Hostel and Vivekananda boys hostel. Campus timing - 6:30p.m for 1st year students and 7:00p.m for 2nd year students and 7:30p.m for 3rd year students and 8:00p.m for 4th year students . Gym , cafeterias , library qualities are so good

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

A GOOD COLLEGE WITH GOOD PLACEMENT , SPORTS FACILITY.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good. So for all this reason I choose this college. I wanted to go for heritage but my name didn't came in cutoff.
