College Life At MAKAUT.

Here BCA is 4yr UG course which is quite equivalent to BTech in configuration. Here students can access major course along with minor courses for full time. Here are many choices for minor which are BBA, ROBOTICS WITH AI,ML, FORENSIC SCIENCE, ANIMATION, STATISTICS etc. No other universities can give this combination.That's why this course is very relevant.

Internship opportunities is overall not so hi-fi. You can get opportunity on your own. But here some tech club that helps you to gain knowledge and provides opportunities to apply for several interships.

Placement neither quite high nor low. Few companies like Infosys,TCS and some MNC companies comes every here. On campus you can have approx 4-6 LPA if you have practical skill and good knowledge.last year highest package went about 10 lpa. Although I prefer to try on campus and off campus both.

Here BCA is now completely 4 yr UG course. As it is govt. College,the fees structure remains low With good fecialities. The year-wise fees that I've paid is 42400 rs(tution fee+examination fee). Tution fee(per semester) is 20000 rs. During admission, I've paid caution fee of 8000 rs(one time payable). Registration fee =500 rs(one Time payable) Admission fee=4000rs (one time payable) Development fee=200rs(one time) Otherwise You also can afford Hostel accommodation which quite good enough here. Hostel caution fee remains= 10000rs. And Hostel fee per semester= 9,700rs So excluding hostel accommodation, total Course fees for BCA is 184300 rs. Here is no hidden charges or increasing charges. Here you can also access gyms(boys & girls seperately) free. Here all the government approved scholarship works properly. Here other courses are also very affordable and good

Here Annual fest,"Anyeshwan" happens during 3 days with lots of games, competition, cultural events and performance of famous bands. Here many clubs like coding club,chess club,poem club,Tech club, GDG club, Robotics club, Anime Club, Dance and Singing clubs are there which are overall ok.

Our college provides BCA as a 4yr UG course. Here is the combination of major subjects along with minors that makes your professional career strong. Other colleges don't give this. And All courses are very affordable and reasonable here.

Faculty-to-student ratio is ok here. 70% faculties are good and easy to approach but rest are Lil bit strict and less communicative to all students. Our HOD and course co-ordinators are good. Few faculties are very good in knowledge and also approachable like Dr.Ayan Ghosh, Dr.Pabitra Kumar Pal etc. Few faculties are not good in teaching. They may be knowledgeable but can't make students understood. But still overall good. Here exams are conducted Semester wise. Each year contains 2 Semesters. Question levels remains moderate to good. Failing number is low here . Here the course curriculum is very relevant as students can access major course(BCA) along with minor courses (Robotics,Ai,Ml/Forensic science/Animation/BBA etc).

You can access gym at free of cost from 8am to 7pm everyday. Cafeterias and small tea stalls and restaurants remains open on Monday to Friday from 10 am to 8:30 pm. College canteen is open everyday. Evening life is good here. But at 10 pm entrance gets locked. 4 security guards are there to check the student safety.
